    Do you remember Anarchy Reigns on the Xbox 360? Of course you don't and in 6 months time most will have forgotten about Bleeding Edge. For all of its colourful characters it has all the personality of dirt. It's dull, it's repetitive and unless you're playing with people that know what they're doing it's miserable.     A multiplayer only game in 2020 that is not on all platforms, not cross play and not F2P makes no sense to me.

    I'm afraid this will soon be forgotten.

    There has been a time where games have gone into the "we have been here before" phase. This game is more of a cross of Overwatch and Smite. Enter Bleeding Edge, a fun 4v4 melee battle game. This game does have a steep learning curve, so doing training with all the characters to learn the strengths and weaknesses does help. Do daily/weekly challenges to unlock skins and emotes, find your teammates that you can stick with, too. Because trust me, winning with randoms without communication is a risk. And many losses. Of course, this is bare bones which brings the score down a bit. It's a nice change of pace with all the looter-shooter, sory-driven, ultra-violent games that a minority of gamers want so badly from Xbox. But, since it is on Xbox Game Pass...it is worth your time!… Expand

    5 years too late. In some ways Bleeding Edge feels like a relic of the past. Developer Ninja Theory are a costumed to creating well crafted and cinematically appealing single player games which suits their vision. However, their recent entry into the multiplayer sector is a bizarre one. Bleeding Edge very much feels like another Overwatch clone, but it's puzzling how it doesn't seem to5 years too late. In some ways Bleeding Edge feels like a relic of the past. Developer Ninja Theory are a costumed to creating well crafted and cinematically appealing single player games which suits their vision. However, their recent entry into the multiplayer sector is a bizarre one. Bleeding Edge very much feels like another Overwatch clone, but it's puzzling how it doesn't seem to even try to properly surpass it. The game is technically appealing, with colorful characters and a great visual design. Sound wise, it also does a great job to compete. However, it falls flat in two major areas: Content and originality. Content, the game is lackluster. There is no ranked mode, very few maps and characters. Honestly, it feels like a beta version of any other Overwatch duplicate. This would be acceptable years ago, but times have passed and it's unacceptable. Playing it, I continued to think how I would much rather be playing a content packed experience, that even a game like the now extinct, Battleborn didn't lack.

    Overall: At times, Bleeding Edge, is fun. It's Overwatch, done to the same standard in terms of presentation, from a top tier developer. But also, in a stride to emulate the game it's trying to compete against - it doesn't set itself apart and is so lacking with content that you'd wonder why it was launched in the first place.    … Expand

    Though it features style in droves, Bleeding Edge is a mediocre MOBA masquerading as a fighting game, one that will leave both camps bored and unsatisfied by some of the most bland melee combat on the market.

    It is a very fun and polished brawler game with a deeper lore hidden within every characters Bio, worth checking out if you arw a fan pf hero shooters but want a spin on the formula and go more on a hack and slash route

    As a game with a price it have less quality than an indie free-to-play game. Microsoft released another super-indie game in the pre-alpha stadium. On Xbox One X it has low quality resolution, bad frame-rate, poor quality of the server during the match, matchmaking absolutely unbalanced, poor roster and the gameplay is very boring. Had a lot of expectations for this game, but i have to sayAs a game with a price it have less quality than an indie free-to-play game.     非常独特的动作多人对战游戏体验，动作流畅，人物极具特色，地图设计也非常棒。游戏对团队配合要求很高，整个游戏体验也会比较依赖团队的整体发挥。我希望能够增加更多的游戏模式和角色，不过这显然是这类游戏长期更新的目标之一。从目前发售版本来看，这款游戏底子很好，很有潜力。

    Pontos Positivos: Gameplay boa, mapas divertidos e estratégicos, personagens bem balanceados e game pass.

    Pontos Negativos: Personagens NADA carismáticos, não tem ranking, enjoativo, poucos modos de jogo , pequena variação de customização e grande quantidade de LAG.

    Jogo é bonito e a trilha sonora é muito boa, mas tem que melhorar bastante os ataques e abilidades dos personagens que está muito desbalanceado e que poderia ser mais jogadores no mapa.

    Game is super fun, really love it. Don't get people that so easily diss and give bad reviews, when clearly they haven't played the game. Developers pour their passion and love into their craft, so unless you have actual constructive criticisms please stop giving 0 to games just for s**** and giggles

    Bleeding Edge es un juego que trata de tomar cosas de otros juegos como overwatch,team fortress, paladins y meter todo en un juego en tercera persona con un diseño de personajes...peculiar...la idea no es mala, pero no les ha funcionado; el juego no tiene personalidad, los controles no son difíciles pero la jugabilidad es tosca y que el juego sea en tercera persona con un mapa tan pequeñoBleeding Edge es un juego que trata de tomar cosas de otros juegos como overwatch,team fortress, paladins y meter todo en un juego en tercera persona con un diseño de personajes...peculiar...la idea no es mala, pero no les ha funcionado; el juego no tiene personalidad, los controles no son difíciles pero la jugabilidad es tosca y que el juego sea en tercera persona con un mapa tan pequeño (plataforma) tampoco ayuda demasiado.     Jogo maravilhoso, entrou muito bem no ramo mona, Ninja Theory está de parabéns. Infelizmente os haters da Sony vai vir aqui meter o pau no game. Mas enfim, eu gostei e recomendo para qualquer um que goste do gênero moba.

    For an a hero based melee brawler 4v4 this game really hits! It is exactly what it needs to be. This game came out really polished! I was so surprised it came out more tuned and polished than the beta! They added some more too it! It will grow over time and will be developed according to feedback

    Cool melee take on the hero shooter/moba genre. Really appreciate a game like this coming to console and even better that its included with gamepass.

    I didn't think much of it based on the trailers and gameplay videos but after actually getting hands on the controller and playing a few games its really fun. It helps that I decimated the lobby and wracked up 18 kills in my second game. I    Cool melee take on the hero shooter/moba genre.     Great Unique Multiplayer that brings back that fun aspect to a brutal brall.
    So much to cover here in this arena style melee fighter. Still have a lot to play and figure out the competitive angle of the game....

    This feels like a bad rip-off of Overwatch, for that reason the originality doesn't exist and that's very important if Bleeding Edge wants to compete with other games in the same field.
    No differentiating factors to make me choose this game over the current popular ones.

    Bleeding Edge: The latest team based shooter. While being different enough from the titan of the genre (Overwatch) it still plays fundimentally the same. With it's own storyline and some crazy characters this game does well to stand out. Visually the game has been well designed and looks nice, interesting character designs and animations, it reminds me somewhat of Jet Set Radio Future butBleeding Edge: The latest team based shooter. Visually the game has been well designed and looks nice, interesting character designs and animations, it reminds me somewhat of Jet Set Radio Future but upgraded, this is by no means a bad thing and I am pleased with the way the game visually presents itself. Control wise I did have to do a slight remap just to slightly adjust and make the main attack button more comfortable, adjusting the attack button to RT and the dodge to X (opposite by default) I found the controls very easy and comfortable. With the ability to keymap the controls are easily customizable enough to be able to suit anyone. The gameplay of Bleeding Edge plays as you would expect, 4v4 team based battle games. These can get quite chaotic and teamwork is highly rewarded and going solo is punished harshly by being ganged up on by the enemy team. Each character has their own special abilities and can turn the tide of the battle when used correctly and at the right time. Bleeding Edge can be enjoyable however at the time of writing sadly rubber banding was an issue during matches and it can be quite jarring, however given this was release day I fully expect these to be resolved soon, doubled by the fact I personally found no way to check on Ping or select server region I was quite disappointed by that fact. Finally the omission of Ranked play at launch and promised at a later date (albeit top priority) took away some of the will to play, due to the fact that matchmaking I was unfortunate enough to a lot of people who didn't quite grasp the concept of teamwork. Overall: While this is a good game and enjoyable enough as is. Personally till some updates / patches have been added in I would hold off and stick with the likes of Overwatch / RS Siege for your team based games, at least till a few issues have been addressed. Once sorted the game could be great. However this review is on what it is not could be.… Expand

    I have to admit that I personally have a thing for those kind of games. Back in 2012 there was a very similar game to this one. It was called Brawl Busters and back then I was 10 years old and I've enjoyed the game quite a lot. The fighting, the animations and even the characters to some degree resemble Brawl Busters, but the game was shut down in 2013 or 2014 (can't remember clearly). TheI have to admit that I personally have a thing for those kind of games. Back in 2012 there was a very similar game to this one. The fighting, the animations and even the characters to some degree resemble Brawl Busters, but the game was shut down in 2013 or 2014 (can't remember clearly). The characters are wacky, the gameplay is stiff at first, but with a 2-3 hours playtime you get used to it and it actually is very smooth when you can dash properly, use your abilities and etc. Ranged characters should be reworked though, that's why I subtract 1 point. Playing as a ranged character feels super passive compared to the melee champs.
    On Xbox One X framerate gets unstable in times of teafights, but to my eye it doesnt go below 45 FPS. Graphics look actually very good with this cyberpunk vibe and colourfullness.
    In terms of content, the game is quite barebones in my opinion and it is rushed. There are a couple of maps and to my knowledge 2 game modes, but it has an excellent tutorial.
    Overall if it wasn't free on Xbox Game Pass, I'd give maximum 15$ for this game. 30$ is way too much for this kind of content.    … Expand

    I loved this game especially the characters collaborating and integrating it together (although I am a person who does not like this style of games). I hope ninja theory will support the game and increase characters in the future.

    Really great brawler, feels like a 3rd person DOTA. Quirky characters sort of like Overwatch but edgier.

    Browsing the other user reviews I see a lot of 0's, from users who rate every playstation exclusive a 10 and every Xbox exclusive 0s. Nobody could really be that pathetic, right? It must be coincidence.

The balancing needed for these characters is astronomical and other characters should not be released till the balance between characters is fixed. If someone is high mobility, lower their damage output (Deamon). If someone is low mobility, increase their damage or bullet speed (Gizmo). There are so many options for most characters. Personally, I find Maeve super fun and balanced. I want to like this game. I really do. But the lack of content, the lack of skins/customization (not counting mods, which are a total positive to the game), the balance between characters, and overall server polish. Keep up the good work and maybe I’ll check it out again in a month or so to see if anything has been added or updated.… Expand

Lousy derivate 'bleedin' edgy' character design where you can work out what they nicked from Overwatch, You can tell this has been sent to die, why not just play Overwatch instead of investing in another Lawbreakers or Battleborn, or Paragon?

    I have likes it and kinda gotten addicted to it even though i am not a big fan of multiplayer games and all i can say if you are into multiplayer games you should definitely try it out

    I think this game has some great gameplay and it has great bones. But I wish there was more given at launch. As of right now there are around 3-4 different maps with only 2 game modes to play(Power Collection, Domination). And there are around 9 playable fighters with 1 more coming soon.     Game is fun alone but it’s a BLAST with friends. It could use more depth and as an online game I hope they continue to grow it and add new features and item to unlock. But as a starting point for a game that hasn’t been attempted before it’s great. I applaud Ninja Theory for trying something different and making Bleeding Edge!

    Kein schlechtes Spiel und das Grundgerüst stimmt. Allerdings ist nach 15h die Luft raus. Hier fehlt mehr Content. Aber mit ein paar kostenlosen dlc's und einer guten Fanbase, kann aus den Spiel auf jeden Fall was werden.

    i know it.s a new game but after 3years of work on it i would expect some more. around 1500 players on release day...imagine how many will be in a week.
    unbalanced.
    still, fun gameplay, unique characters, lovely artstyle.

    O jogo é excelente no que propõe. Muito divertido, bonito e com personagens que chamam atenção. Quem está chamando ele de "lento" nunca jogou um moba, que é o que o Bleeding Edge é.

    Realmente no entiendo porque la gente le da un 0 (sera porque no podéis jugarlo ?), haber no es un juego de 10 pero tampoco de 0 (le doy 10 para contrarestar xd pero mi nota seria un 8) tiene buenos graficos, su jugabilidad es muy buena y tiene variedad de personajes pero a mi parecer le faltan mapas, personalización de personajes y más    Es un buen juego, divertido y entretenido.

    For me, it is a great game. Intensive, fast and a design beautiful. But there are bugs, player spawn everywhere. I hope which there will be a lot of contents to do live the game. But for 30 dollars, that's very good

    Fun game. Great combat mechanics, satisfying to play and be part of the team, beautiful art style where you can clearly distinct whats on display, good soundtrack. Good game with lots of room for growth.

    The game has a lot of potential. Cool designed heros with awesome abilities. Most times it's really fun, especially with friends, but without a good team, it can be really frustrating. But you can definetly also have success with randoms . I also think it's awesome that we're getting new maps and new characters soon

    Just another poor game of Xbox. If you have a good team, it will be fun, just fun. Aim assist makes the game a casual game. Combat is pretty simple and the game is very repetitive, since the combat is easy.

    El juego es grandioso, muy adictivo, gran diseño de personajes, pero puedo ver que llegaron los sonyers a tratar de bajar la calificación jajaja, el juego salió a las 12 de la noche y ya hay gente que lo probó por un buen tiempo?     Very uninspiring. No depth at all n honestly feels like a free mobile game. There is no way Microsoft should have sent this out n used a excuse of "the game is made by fifteen devs" wish they would have put their full backing instead n made a bv worthy competitor to Overwatch

    Bleeding Edge has almost nothing to offer. What potential it has in it is woefully stuck in a product that is so meagre and void of content. It is like taking a single slice of cheese, and trying to cover an entire pizza pie; there just not enough here to make this work passed a few hours, and that's all. There are not enough modes, not enough interest in the community to keep it going, and the combat is way too simplistic for high level play.
