As a huge Batman fan, I really liked this version of the DC hero. It's a fresh new view of the beginnings of Bruce Wayne as the guardian of Gotham City, what also means the game is not loyal to the comics, so take that into account before playing it if you've been a Batman follower for a long time.

As a gamer I'm tired of the companies that sell games in pieces like TellTale. We've to wait until the next episode launches and pay for it... It's just annoying; If this game hadn't been given for free as a Xbox Live gift I wouldn't have played it. There're other issues such as texture glitches or dub mistakes that i wanted to mention, but nothing serious.
To sum up, the Batman story that tells us this game is great and gripping. However, the politics of the developers are tiring if we want to play it since the launch day, and if we play the complete version we'll have finished it in a couple of days; the game is also kinda short.

This was the first Telltale game I have played, and that was probably a mistake considering that I have heard there are some really great ones out there like Tales from the Borderlands and The Walking Dead Series. All in all the game is an easy 1000 achievement points and the story is kind of weak, but I guess it is set up in a way to lead into more Batman stories. Finding out Lady Arkham's back story was surprising and a bit grim. Like other TT games, there will be no reason to replay this again unless you have someone in your household that has not played it yet. **My review is based off of the digital version of the game** Expand

This game provides a very unique and unexpected take on the Batman franchise. Sadly, small glitches are present, some choices feel forced and the dialog is adequate. I zoned out in a couple of episodes. Nonetheless, this is certainly worth experiencing for Batman or Telltale fans.

The story of this game was really well done, and I personally think that Telltale really outdone themselves once again. The story is easy to follow, and there are lots of decisions to make in this game, and that is what this company does well.

You might be thinking, "Why are you giving it a 7 out of 10?" Let me tell you why. The game, four years after it came out, IS STILL BUGGY! At

You might be thinking, "Why are you giving it a 7 out of 10?" Let me tell you why. The game, four years after it came out, IS STILL BUGGY! At some points, assets take their time to load, and at one point, Batman was beating up invisible people and talking to an invisible person. I watched a clip on YouTube to see if this was working correctly, and sure enough, it was not. I was supposed to see Batman beat up thugs, and then talk to a cop that was almost killed by the thugs. The only minor criticism I have is the super ability, which I feel does not need a meter because you are gonna use it during the scripted events. There is never a time where you need it and you can't use it because the meter isn't full.

I do recommend playing this game, despite the glitches, be overall, it was a stable game that was super awesome.

It is interesting story with unexpected twists, perfect as an alternative to watching a series or movie (if you can not to pay attention to some technical issues)

A few action-related missteps don't stop this being a decent first season. [Feb 2017, p.86]

Okay, so technical issues aside Batman – The Telltale Series is worth checking out. If you happen to live inside the Venn diagram of people who enjoyed Rocksteady’s Arkham series and like to play Telltale-style adventure games, then it’s a must. Or, if you’re simply a fan of the comic book series.

Batman: The Telltale Series is not very new in gameplay. The love for the franchise is there, the authentic story feels real, but the game does not offer enough action or surprises.
