    Baldur’s Gate has been left intact and is allowed to shine as a gaming classic. New players needn’t be scared away, with a small amount of patience even D&D beginners will find a rewarding experience here.

Coming back with reimagined cutscenes, and smoothed graphics, both Baldur's Gates games tell one of the most complete stories in Faerun. Using the Dungeons and Dragons Second Edition rules, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 bring the nostalgia full throttle for anyone that played D&D in this era, PC or Tabletop. Loaded with Iconic Characters and locations are still to this day used in the Faerun setting, Baldur's Gate paved the way for even the modern Dungeon Crawlers. Adding hundreds of fixes to the gameplay, the Enhanced Edition includes all of the expansions for both games, making this the Definitive Collection. Baldur's Gate was originally released in 1998 and set the standard for future games of its genre. The games feel cleaner than ever and runs impressively smooth even given the power of modern consoles. This is a legendary story, and should be experienced by every generation of RPG fan, and is a must-have for Dungeons and Dragons fans World Wide. The release of this incredible collection gives newer generations the chance to experience the story in its entirety, spanning huge areas of Faeruns overworld, and the Underdark. The system is intricate, and I highly recommend you talk to all of the tutors in the starting area. Add in the game is 20 years old and its £50, ladies and gentleman, that is Baldurs gate enhanced edition. Setting fire to £50 will bring you more joy.… Full Review »
