    If This games doesn't get absolutely any "The Game Awards" nominations, i might leave gaming forever. Like i wouldn't even care anymore at that point, because it would be biggest injustice in history of gaming, ever. This is game is great and i absolutely don't care, if some people don't understand that. I'm not saying spider-man don't deserve it, but leaving Valhalla completely out, while giving some short games spot JUST BECAUSE they are console exclusives is pathteic. Absolutelty pathetic. I'm not saying AC Valhalla needs to get "game of the year" nomination, i'm saying, give it ANY nomination. Music, art direction, best action / adventure game, ANYTHING. It doesn't even have to win, just nomination would be enough. I have been gaming over 10 years, it's my biggest passion and hobby and if this game gets no nominations i might just give up gaming. Literally any joy i feel from gaming would be gone and it would be gone because i would know that i'm part of community that doesn't understand greatness. But hopefully it gets some nominations, i'm really hopeful, because i have some faith left in this community, not much, but still, some.… Expand

    Extremely fun game, if you actually know what you are doing. If you are used to linear games that tell you what to do at every second then don't even try AC Valhalla, it's clearly not for you. This games focuses on fact that YOU will explore the world, YOU will make YOUR own journey. If you don't like these kinds of games, there's no point trying it.

    This game is very good, but i bet many people wont understand that, if they don't want to go deep with it. It's honestly sad to see that gaming landscape has become so weak and only boring and extremely simple games like spider-man: miles morales or demon's souls get attention, while games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla where you actually need to think get pushed aside.     Been fan of AC series for 5-6 years and this is one of the better games they have made. Odyssey has nothing on it. Would recommend.

    Why so many negative reviews? Yeah there are some bugs, but overall it's one of the best games i have played from 2020 lineup. Just cause you have some problems with game doesn't automatically mean you have to give it 0 okay? Or these could be stereotypical tasteless Ubisoft haters who crawl out from their cave every time Ubisoft releases hit game. Either way i don't personally care evenWhy so many negative reviews?     A largely good and expansive game with several serious flaws. 1) Screen tearing. Tho that's something everyone knows now
    2) horribly low texture terrain compared to the buildings. This is most evident when you follow the Seers quest.     Solid Assassin's Creed game, other than meh performance at times and some bugs, i have nothing really bad to say. They should bring it to steam, then it would be way easier to review this game.

    From graphical standpoint this game is absolute masterclass, they really hit the nail with both Norway and England. This game's soundtrack is one of the most beautiful and relaxing soundtracks i have heard in long time in any video game. Combat is good, cities look interesting enough. There's many places to climb and parkour on. Overall very good.

    There's only four games from 2020 that i can say truly deserve to be nominated at "The Game Awards", these are : Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Doom Eternal, Half Life Alyx and Assassin's creed Valhalla. Tony Hawk 1+2 Remake was really nice, but come on, all in all it's not that revolutionary.

    Reading all of these reviews I can certainly say - congratulations Ubisoft! You lost the fan base that brings you money all these years before you completely finished them off by Odyssey. And you somehow managed to disappoint your new fans. I don't know how you did this those people really love Odyssey, don't know what piece of garbage should it be to make them dissatisfied.

    This is a good game, if you like the genre or just open world games in general you will enjoy this game.

    When I was looking at there move away from RNG / Loot based equipment I thought it was gonna dumb down the game. Nope, I got to say its actually really good system they have here. Its like they removed all of the trash loot you weren't gonna use anyway and just left the legendary items you were always gonna hunt down first anyways. The rune system is a great way to tweak the equipment to work toward your style.

    The combat feels good, its smoother, more interesting, and more challenging in its variety. The enemy armor / weak point system is a nice change of pace from just increasing the health pool. As for assassination's, as many stated the return of a one hit kill system can make it feel much more like one of the original games.

    Why did I only give it an 8 you ask if I like it so much?
    1. My standards are high for a 10, it would have to surprise me and draw to me a a unique way.
    2. Its kind of long, that can get a bit repetitive.
    3. Bugs, nothing game blocking, but I have run into some annoying ones.
    4. UI & Interface, somethings are not explained well or at all. The icons are hard to understand (bear / wolf gear? I had to google to understand what that meant).
    5. Side Quests in open world: I like that they aren't a hand holding experience, but if that's the case we need more NPC interaction to tell us what they need. There are a few interactions where I couldn't tell what was going on.    … Expand

    I thought they don't make good games anymore?? Apparently i was wrong, this game made me speechless when i first booted it up. Voice acting, story, open world, graphics, different cities and hidden locations. This game might have best looking water i have seen in any video game ever, because it's kinda my hobby to compare different game's water effects and this one is just absolute top tier.

    Ubisoft did home run with this one. Reminds me Black Flag days, and it has this dark tone that Unity had. Graphics are amazing, parkour is finally good again.

    Thankfully Microsoft have introduced a refund option to the Microsoft store. The game for me was broken. The AI was broken and stupid. Cutscenes were sloppy and audio didn't line up. I'm sure it must be like that for everyone else so don't understand all these good reviews. Accepting this poor quality level will allow it to continue.

    Assassin's Creed is not something you can quickly finish and move on to next "cool game". This game series focuses on exploration, stealth and really just enjoying the environments.
    Of course it also has brutal combat and all that cool stuff, but what i'm trying to say is that it's not your average 5-10 hour game. If you don't wanna actually enjoy it and take your time, there's no point    Assassin's Creed is not something you can quickly finish and move on to next "cool game".     Spent 2 hours climbing mountains in Norway and it was maybe best fun i have had in 2020 video game. This game can be extremely relaxing, climbing some huge mountain and just looking at the distance while wind slowly blows. It can also be very brutal, if you want, you can fight so many different enemies and bosses. There's so much to do, so much to explore and it's actually fun. Amazing game.

    This Assassin's Creed game is just something else. This is new level and i want more of this, not right now ,but in general terms. Can't wait for Ireland and Paris dlc, even tho i have enough content already in this base game. Both Norway and England look absolutely stunning.

There's also different hidden cave entrances on Norway you can go inside and explore. It's huge game with so much stuff to do and you can choose to do whatever you feel like. I love this freedom and like in any Assassin's Creed game you can climb on top ofTruly beautiful open world, specially England, but Norway is stunning as well.     The 9th century dark ages England settings is just great, supported by a well done graphics and audio. The ambience is incredibly immersive.
    As for the gameplay it's an AC formula overall. A huge skill tree and many different abilities make it really fun to play and allow different builds.     People who give this 0 or 1 score can go to hell, this game is good. I'm not saying it's perfect, because it has some bugs like any other open world game would have at launch, but overall it's huge beautiful game world to have fun with, great story, nice voice acting. Strong recommendation.

    Great game to spend time in November until Cyberpunk comes in December. Valhalla is graphically amazing. I have heard some people don't like combat that much, i personally like it, not sure what's the problem. Overall very good AC game, might be Ubisoft's best open world ever.

    To me personally this top 3 Assassin's Creed game ever made. These two maps alone (England and Norway) have so much content and stuff to explore. And then they add Ireland later?? That's everything i wanted from this game, maybe even more.

At the same time there's over 500 fake 10/10 accounts on demon souls remake, can't believe anyone takes this site even seriously.

For a game that promised ferocious combat it is especially easy and ultimately unfulfilling. Im actually so dissapointed after all the hype. Never have i had such a love hate relationship with a developer.     It's really good game, if you actually wanna enjoy it, not rush it, so you could play next big game faster. Assassin's Creed games are meant to be played for months NOT few days. I bet penguinz gives it 4.5, because not enough action and too much sailing.

    Beautiful huge open world with lots of secrets and mysteries. I have heard some people complain about combat, i personally like it, didn't find anything wrong with it. Would be surprised if it's not nominated at game awards.

    What can i say that other haven't said already, imo it's one of the best AC games ever made. One of the best open worlds Ubisoft has ever created (out of all their games). Amazing.

    It's so good, one of the best Ac games for sure, it has every element to make it great.
    It' should be nominated @ The Game Awards alongside games like Final Fantasy VII Remake, Jedi Fallen Order, Ghost of Tsushima, Spiderman Miles Morales and Half Life: Alyx.

    Finally something good to play before cyberpunk 2077 comes out. 2020 has been so lackluster of decent games, only ones that come to mind are final fantasy vii remake and doom eternal and doom eternal wasn't best imo.

    If you liked Black Flag, but didn't really care for Odyssey, i would strongly recommend trying Valhalla. It's best of both worlds. Stunningly beautiful game world, both Norway and England truly shine. One of my favorite games of 2020.

    Amazing game to start. This is the best one of the franchise for someone who enjoyed the og titles but love some of the new mecanics in origine and odyssey !

    Like i totally get it when someone is burned out of Odyssey and is not interested playing another 100 hour epic, but here' the thing, this one is so much better than Odyssey ever was. But in the end it's obviously up to everyone individually what they want to play. To me, this is my favorite AC setting ever (Norway-England-North sea). Yes it is only AC in name but that does not mean it isn't a good game. Have played all AC games and this is worth it. Stop living in the past and enjoy the new direction they have taken.     Assassin Creed Ballala is the most terrible game I've ever played. lag, the error is too bad.
    Even the best graphics cards have lag, error.
    The story is not funny either.
    Subquest only increased the number.
    The action is boring and I fall asleep.

    This is a great instalment in the long running Assassin’s Creed series. It goes backwards on a couple of things but overall, great game!

    Really surprised Ubisoft managed to make this. I mean they have had hits before, but after 2019 flop i kinda lost hope, seems i was too quick to judge. AC Valhalla is at least 100 hour game with tons of good content, locations, enemies etc. Story is also surprisingly good, specially if compared to Odyssey.

    AC Valhalla almost feels like "Thank You" letter from Ubisoft to all their fans that have supported them past 7 years. It's truly amazing game and there's nothing more that pisses me off than these absolute nolife losers who gives zeros without even caring about this series or buying it. I wish all the worst in your lives.

    it's boring, i'm sure you will find your fun in Marvel's Avengers, leave good games to people who actually know how to enjoy them. This is literally perfect game to spend my time on until Cyberpunk comes out.

    I have bought so many games this year, mostly because there was nothing to do thanks to quarantine. I bought Tony Hawk 1+2 remake, i bought Ghost of Tsushima, i bought 2018 spider-man (it's amazing btw), i refused to buy last of us 2 because how they lied to their fans, that was disgusting. But overall of all these games i have bought this year, i have enjoyed AC Valhalla most.

    This game is one of the better comebacks i have seen in years. Odyssey had the graphics, but story was weak and voice acting was meh. This one has everything and more. Voice acting is perfect, music is just amazing, i could literally hours meditate for that main menu theme. Graphically it takes things further than ever. Some locations look just amazing.     From November lineup this is very clear winner. Miles Morales is fine second place, but it's just too basic for my taste. I need something deeper and AC Valhalla is exactly that.

    Furtividade , é bom eles capricharam nessa área , porém é necessário criar uma build furtiva se não vc vai sofrer.

    Enredo , tem seus altos e baixos , as escolhas afetam pouca coisa na campanha , e é muito comprido , (sim eu estou reclamando que a campanha é muito comprida) tem muita encheção de linguiça , parece que a campanha não se move , demorei umas 50 horas pra terminar a campanha dessas 50 , 30 são só encheção de linguiça que poderia ter sido cortado do jogo.

    Loot , sem sombra de duvida é a melhor parte do game , o jogo tem pouco loot , porém tudo é muito único , nessa área o jogo sacrifica quantidade por qualidade , algo que eu queria que a ubi fisese para outras partes do game.

    gráficos , o mundo aberto é lindo , na verdade a unica coisa que incomoda no jogo é a modelagem dos personagens , NPCs e personagens importantes , as expressões faciais são horríveis , de resto o gráfico é muito bom.

    Upar , a arvore de habilidades é uma enganação , é extensa de mais , e a maioria das coisas que vc desbloqueia nela são inúteis exemplo "1% a a mais de dano com arcos" é muito pouco e não deveria tá ali enchendo linguiça.

    o jogo é bem medíocre , eu esperava bem mais.

    Ну, свои мысли насчёт этой игры я уже написал, так что тут просто скажу что для основной массы это 8-9/10. Для меня это 10/10. Пошёл дальше бороздить Англию и помогать Ассасинам истреблять Тамплиеров....пардон, Орден Древних которые через 400 лет по сюжету станут Тамплиерами.Ну, свои мысли насчёт этой игры я уже написал, так что тут просто скажу что для основной массы это 8-9/10.     Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is another success in the series. We love that it’s starting to look back at older, more classic elements of the franchise and finding ways to reimplement them in an ever-evolving, fresh feeling new game.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla isn't a light, fast and pragmatic Viking ship. It's a Titanic, magnificent, massive, and majestic, made to lead players through a 9th-century epic. With enough content to keep players busy for hours and hours, it's not threatened by any iceberg but rather by the weight of its own size. For the most dedicated, this can be a treat, but for many others, it could be a game they'll leave unfinished, living forever in the backlog.

    Even with its technical shortcomings on last-generation hardware, it is hard to not call Assassin’s Creed Valhalla an amazing open-world RPG. It’s obvious that Ubisoft did its homework and learned from Origins and Odyssey. Valhalla’s story is one of the best not only in the franchise but in the open-world RPG genre. The world is vast but not laden with empty, pointless space. Combat is addicting, character customization is the best the franchise has ever seen, and the welcome return of composer Jesper Kyd makes for one of last year’s most immersive and satisfying experiences.

    Assassin’s Creed brings beautiful English countryside to the masses whilst fixing a lot of the series’ recent missteps. Some genuinely fun and surprising moments with some great writing make for a fun time.
