I used to see wrestling games as the ultimate beat 'em ups during the PlayStation era but during the last two generations I believe the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise has evolved just enough to take that away from wrestling games. Overall a game that needed to be enjoyed on release by wrestling fans, otherwise a sack of **** entry in a dead gaming franchise. Expand

I can't believe that, with all the technology available today, this is the best that can be done for a wrestling game. I mean the games graphics look good, but the gameplay tells me that it needed to cook in the oven a little longer.

A let down, All around its good, better graphic... what did they miss this time..... CAWS , what did they do, took out a lot of stuff, now its difficult to even make a logo or a simple star on my caw, plus the music SUCKS, big time... next time i hope you can input your own music.

If you love wrestling, it'll make you squeal - if you don't, you'll think it's broken. [Dec 2006, p.68]
  2. Tag matches still feel like handicap matches, mainly owing to the fact that your AI-controlled partner doesn't actually do all that much, even when you call for help.

But, for as fresh as it seems, it also feels horrendously outdated in terms of story and characters. [Dec. 2006, p.128]
