This is the best smackdown! vs. raw game ever. I haven't actually got the chance to buy it but i have played it and it is intense!

Overall a game that needed to be enjoyed on release by wrestling fans, otherwise a sack of **** entry in a dead gaming franchise. Expand

Feels old gen and not next gen, and their lies it's major problem. A must for only the most seasonal WWE fan. The series seriously needs some completion (TNA we are looking at you) as to stop the lazy ports of Smackdown v Raw That we are currently having to play through. Could be so much better.

I can't believe that, with all the technology available today, this is the best that can be done for a wrestling game. I mean the games graphics look good, but the gameplay tells me that it needed to cook in the oven a little longer.

The roster update is nice, and the graphics pretty solid. But there are still some serious gameplay issues lingering around from last time, and some new ones added. Playing with my kid, I got a little tired of just getting owned after falling to the mat from a punch. Also I would have liked to have seen some NEW match modes, and why aren't the ECW guys in there? Its a 360 game, we should have complete rosters. It is nice to see some new legends available, and season mode is a lot better than last year. This is a must for WWE fans, but the casual fan might lose interest. Expand

This game is a big upgrade from last year better story mode, and the music is ok. If you a WWE fan get this game if not then try renting it first.

Great Graphics, AWESOME Soundtrack, great entrances, awsome create modes. Some buggy spots, the brain chop for sure. Also I HATE how the audience has like 3 cloned people and they're 2D! So You never see the backs of them, they always face the cam with there reapeatd taunts, great sign selection, and good Ultimate control grapples. 9.7/10

WWE Smackdown! vs. RAW 2007 has its moments, but the 4 player gameplay turns out to be a free for all mash fest. Confusion ensues when also playing six player matches. If you're into the WWE games, buy it; if you're unsure, rent it first.

It's good. But, the graphics have numerous problems which shouldn't be there considering the kind of power the system is offering.

While it's a shame that some characters are teased but not actually in the game the roster is great and the in ring action is fantastic. The create a character is fun and the story mode is different for each show. The customization of the locker room is a waste of cash you could spend on unlocking characters.

Smackdown vs Raw 2007 was an Instant Classic Game on the Xbox 360 Because in this game, you have a Great season mode where you have a CAW become an wwe superstar and the CAW Goal was Winning The WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 22 and finishing the Season Mode 100% Complete. The best WWE game there is. A great mix of gameplay and story helped it to that title.

The roster selection is pretty good (wish Jeff Hardy was in it though) and the stage designs are detailed and beautiful. The entrances are pretty spot on for each wrestler with great lighting effects for pyro. The superstars themselves are very detailed on the Xbox 360 and actually look more realistic

The entrances are pretty spot on for each wrestler with great lighting effects for pyro. The superstars themselves are very detailed on the Xbox 360 and actually look more realistic than WWE 2K19 at times.

The use of the right analog stick for grapples was a great addition for the game because it makes the buttons less cluttered with combinations to remember. "Ultimate Control Moves" are fun to use and the "Environmental Hotspots" are also quite entertaining to use. The stamina meter can be annoying for some, but the option to get rid of it is appreciated for those who want a more arcade style of wrestling games.

The season mode is filled to the brim with storylines that feel like your part of a WWE show. The branching storylines offer you the chance to bring out your face (good guy) or heel (bad guy) persona. It's better than the current mode we have on WWE 2K19.

GM Mode is pretty underrated and serves like a franchise mode for a sports game. It's fun to take over a WWE show and run it like a GM. I'm sad that this mode isn't back in the current WWE games.

The creation suite is a little lacking with the lack of an option to add your own custom music and loading screens to preview animations take a long time, but it's still very fun to use.

The soundtrack is a joy to listen to with a majority of it being rock music being used compared to crappy pop and hip-hop music used now. For a wrestling event I see rock music as more of an appropriate choice of music because it pumps you up which the music does.

Overall, I say this is a great installment in the SVR franchise and the last good one before the terrible game that was SVR 2008. If you want a WWE game with great gameplay and stories; this is the game for you!

If you love wrestling, it'll make you squeal - if you don't, you'll think it's broken. [Dec 2006, p.68]
  2. Tag matches still feel like handicap matches, mainly owing to the fact that your AI-controlled partner doesn't actually do all that much, even when you call for help.

But, for as fresh as it seems, it also feels horrendously outdated in terms of story and characters. [Dec. 2006, p.128]
