With the focus shifting to the next-gen athletes, this is a tuned down version that doesn’t offer the content nor the fascination of last years’ wrestling extravaganza. The rock solid foundation is still there, though.

Do yourself a favor, save your money, and buy WWE 2K14. The minor improvements to combat and commentary in 2K15 don't even come close to making up for what was lost.

Maybe the next gen versions will be better, but on the 360 and PS3 this is a deeply cynical release that’s inferior to last year’s entry in almost every way.

They are flat retreads of their forebears at best, and stripped down expansion packs at their worst.

If you're being generous and don't care about the missing creation features, then WWE 2K15 is about as strong as WWE 2K14, except that it asks for premium price. In fact, that this current-gen WWE 2K15 could have been better as DLC for WWE 2K14.

This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. There isn't really anything new in the game apart from the roster and showcase mode. The game is pretty much 2k14 just with a smaller roster, the commentary is apparently improved but it just stays the same. If you want to use a new roster then yes, buy this apart from that you might aswell stick with 2k14 or wait until the release of 2k15 on XBOX ONE & PS4. I however am stuck with 2k15 until I get my Xbox One for Christmas. I'm not going to give too much away but the overalls are messed up this year, for example the divas are rated too high (Bellas rated 83) the create a finisher and create a story have both been removed and so has the replay system for some weird reason.
