This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. There isn't really anything new in the game apart from the roster and showcase mode. The game is pretty much 2k14 just with a smaller roster, the commentary is apparently improved but it just stays the same. If you want to use a new roster then yes, buy this apart from that you might aswell stick with 2k14 or wait until the release of 2k15 on XBOX ONE & PS4. I however am stuck with 2k15 until I get my Xbox One for Christmas. I'm not going to give too much away but the overalls are messed up this year, for example the divas are rated too high (Bellas rated 83) the create a finisher and create a story have both been removed and so has the replay system for some weird reason. This game feels like they didn't even try. This port of WWE 2K15 for Xbox 360 and PS3 is herendous. The game has the exact same modes with different characters, modes are removed and there's no options menu.

Pretty sad to see this happening, this is NOT a better product than WWE 2K14. its worse!! they removed every important aspect of the game! with its awful graphics and OVERRATED superstars (Cena 96 WTF!!?) it proves that this franchise is indeed going downhill.

WWE 2K15 is the absolute worst wrestling game I've ever played. As someone who played some real stinkers during the PS1 era, this game takes the case as the worst. WWE games have been on a decline for many years now since Smackdown vs. Raw 2008. As someone who played some real stinkers during the PS1 era, this game takes the case as the worst. WWE games have been on a decline for many years now since Smackdown vs. Raw 2008. While WWE13 and WWE 2K14 were better than the WWE Smackdown vs. Raw games from 2008-2011, in addition to WWE12, they were still extremely buggy games with dated engines both in gameplay and graphics. But at least both '13 and '14 were crammed with content. Sadly, 2K15 is the exact opposite. Small roster, many of which look like CAWs and not finely crafted character models that resemble their real life counterparts. In addition, long hair still looks like plastic in these games. As for the gameplay, it's as basic and glitchy as ever. This is pretty much just 2K14 with good content removed and glitches added. We all hoped that the shift from THQ to 2K would mean a better future for WWE games, but that's not the case. If anything, it's gotten a lot worse. As long as Yukes is at the helm, we'll continue to get yearly releases with little effort. They'll try to sell us on next year's game by saying how much more content it has than 2K15, but sadly more isn't always that much better when you're dealing with dated gameplay and glitches. Since Yukes is also the primary developer of the PS4/Xbox One versions, I'm not holding my breath for something better. I'm just expecting a prettier disaster. Expand

If you thought other yearly sports franchises like Madden tended to lack innovation, wait until you play WWE 2K15! Just take last year's WWE 2K14, remove 50% of the features, and you have WWE 2K15! Amazing!

I knew after 2K took over that the series would die. I just knew it.

Not only is the Create-A-Story and Create-A-Finisher modes removed from the game, so is the replays for some odd reason. Even 2K14 was a bad game like this. They hardly improved anything between the two. I would highly not recommend to buy this game or 2K14. If I were you, stay near the games when THQ owned this

The game is easier to tweak to your own preferences than before (people complaining about unrealistic overall ratings for wrestlers should take note of this point). The nxt mode is brilliant for fans who regularly watch the shows since it showcases the next generation of superstars remarkably well. The 2k showcase mode is a nice extension of the themes that have run with the 2 previous games and shows great potential for expansion with dlc. The graphics aren't a huge improvement but the use of the graphics has improved vastly. Character models in the last game were embarassing and in some cases downright unrecognisable. My only real down point is I feel that compared to previous games customisation is incredibly limited. In terms of creating how the character looks it is almost identical to previous games but the create-an-entrance system is now shockingly limited, with next to no entrance motions available and an inability to use your own music for themes. I also felt that their failed to improve on some of the issues with Universe mode (limited number of rivalries etc) On the whole most of the superstars in 2k15 are surprisingly realistic. I do feel that to a certain degree the game is a glorified expansion for 2k15 but have thus far thoroughly enjoyed it and feel that those who have played it and given it anything below a 6/7 out of 10 were simply being incredible unrealistic in their expectations of a game made for what is now a last gen console. WWE 2k15 is a solid entry to the WWE game series. A lot of match types has been shockingly excluded. Also, one surprising fact is that they included old attires of wrestlers in the game! For example, The Shield broke up in June, but they are still wearing Shield attire and the Shield music is playing when they are coming out. I have this game only bad thing I've found is the memory usage it takes. If you buy I suggest a very large hard drive.I had to go out and buy the 500 GB MEMORY HARD DRIVE to download all the content almost 5 GB's used and more still coming. Then Lana not on the roster to use as a wrestler? The ascension gets removed from teams if you reset the universe. But I do like it so far other than what it's costing I mean it's a video game does the game and the complete list of wrestlers need to cost the same as a vehicle?I already paid the $300 for the xbox $60 for xbox live $60 for the game.Though the ratings yes they are off but not an indicator of how powerful the character is this is just a win loss in-game ratio. Not sure if any spoilers are included in this post Expand

With the focus shifting to the next-gen athletes, this is a tuned down version that doesn’t offer the content nor the fascination of last years’ wrestling extravaganza. The rock solid foundation is still there, though.

They are flat retreads of their forebears at best, and stripped down expansion packs at their worst.
