Oct 18, 2011WRC: World Rally Championship 2 does a bit more to become accessible to new and casual players, but in truth it is a game for real fans of the sport, those who really want a full on challenge. It isn't going to grab the DIRT crowd, but it is the best rally simulation on consoles today.
-
Oct 21, 2010It doesn't have a fully accomplished driving model, and physics are far from perfect, still WRC is good first shot on the rally simulation by Milestone and Black Bean. The three years licence should give the team the right time to polish the product, and hopefully get to an even better product in the next years. As of now, if you are a fan of the WRC competition, this is your best option on the shelves, even if not perfect and fully accomplished.

Oct 21, 2010WRC: FIA World Rally Championship is a racing game for true rally lovers, with simple graphics but rich of content and with a very satisfying gameplay.
-
games(TM)Jan 20, 2011Possibly the most technically realised rally experience available on console. [Issue#102, p.115]
-
Official Xbox Magazine UKDec 25, 2010As it is, there's a fundamentally exciting and feature-heavy driving game here, but one burdened just enough by small niggles to bring us down. [Issue#65, p.92]
-
X-ONE Magazine UKDec 25, 2010The racing itself is decent, if not quite as exciting as you'd hope, and while it ticks all the boxes, the overall production still feels a little threadbare. [Issue#65, p.91]
-
Oct 24, 2010WRC is a very competent rally game and offers quite some challenge. However, it lacks any surprises and does not impress visually. If you do not care about these factors, it's still worth to check out and get acquainted with one of the world's most exciting auto motorized sports.
-
Oct 21, 2010For now, those prepared to invest the necessary commitment, ignore the blandness and live with the game's failings will find that – once on the dirt, gravel, snow or asphalt – WRC FIA World Rally Championship delivers moments that are indisputably thrilling.
-
Oct 21, 2010WRC is not a return as strong as the Formula 1 championship, but is a game that will please simulation fans. Its visuals are not remarkable, but its gameplay works very well.
-
Oct 21, 2010It's no Richard Burns Rally and nor does it hold a light to Codemasters' DiRT games, but WRC is a surprisingly enjoyable take on the sport that gets the fundamentals right.
-
Oct 21, 2010WRC: World Rally Championship is a good game. Not an awesome one, but it's quite good anyway, with an official licence as a nice bonus you can't find in Dirt. The driving gameplay is a little bit odd due to the turning physics, but the overall experience is deep and funny enough.
-
Oct 21, 2010In closing, the game is the best representative of the WRC that is presently out, whether it is the best rally game is a different matter.
-
Jan 2, 2011It may not be enough to challenge the likes of Dirt, but the framework is definitely there for Milestone to produce a great rally title.
-
Oct 21, 2010Developer Milestone has managed to create a nice rally game that somehow disappoints in the visual department. Race fans should buy this game, but only when it has been lowered in price.
-
Oct 21, 2010WRC isn't the best racing game, but it offers a satisfying rally experience.
-
Oct 21, 2010Despite poor presentation, WRC offers a realistic and satisfying rally experience.
-
Oct 28, 2010Overall, WRC: FIA World Rally Championship is a mediocre racing title. There's nothing in the game that hasn't been seen or done before within the genre, this is offset by the handling and official WRC support, making this more of a must purchase for the fully committed car rally fan.
-
Oct 25, 2010WRC is a mediocre game which combines good driving in the more realistic direction with terrible presentation and a basic but well-functioning online mode. Despite some good points, it is a half-hearted production that falls short of competing with far better titles that are available for half the price tag.
-
Oct 21, 2010WRC is the best racing game Milestone has put out in quite some time, but it's woefully lacking in terms of presentation. With racing games it's not just about an authentic driving model, as you need the in-game visuals to put you in the virtual driver's seat.
-
Oct 21, 2010WRC 2010 seems to be coming back from the dead, at last... Even though some will undoubtedly have trouble getting past its mediocre visuals. Indeed, it's hard not to mention this with GT5 coming up. But despite this less-than average technical side, and lack of weather conditions to spice things up, the game remains fun and consistent in terms of content, modes of play and driving sensations. Its simulation is precise and accessible at the same time, thanks to several settings to choose from. Let's hope next year's edition will correct the visual flaws of this one.
-
Oct 21, 2010Though by no means a very bad or broken game, WRC: FIA World Rally Championship just isn't particularly remarkable and is short on replay value.
-
Oct 21, 2010Black Bean has secured the licence for three years and we're sure they'll make the most of it eventually. This is just a foundation from which they can build. Little more.
-
Oct 21, 2010Primitive graphics and weird standard settings for the cars make WRC 2010 mediocre at best.
-
Oct 21, 2010For its return into the videogame industry, the World Rally Championship license misses the train with WRC which shouldn't help this automotive discipline to win more fans.
