    Don't Listen to the other gamers giving this a 0 and 4, that is untrue. The gameplay, graphics and online play have been improved hugely due some minor alterations. True the game has not been massively changed but the levels are completely different and the story is the best from any games I have played before!     Excellent game. Controls are nice. Only thing that sucks is how long it takes to Rank up. And how difficult it is to actually kill someone. Aside from that, awesome game.

    I loved the first and this is what I expected in a sequel. The VS multiplayer is great but the Co-op really makes this game shine. If you're a fan of the first, buy this one. If you didn't like the first than this new one won't win you over.

U saddo's that r rubbish and rate this game poorly dont buy shooter games. is there was no vegas 1 u would rate this game 10 out of 10. the online is better than cod4.offline not so brill but that is wot this game is about.dont buy it on ps3 bcoz it cant handle the graphics.or it can be jus them bein lazy not bein botheres to make gd games.this games has superbThis game is good.     Decent game despite some reviews. Gameplay and graphics are good and has a long life span due to the multiplayer. The new features on the game are very nice and gives that extra touch. Many people have given bad reviews based on comparions with the previous one which is wrong. Any first time gamer to R6V2 will say this is a decent game which it is. For my general overview of this game,everything applies from my Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 review,plus what follows in this review for this game.This game,like Vegas 1,has great detailed graphics,great choice of equipment & weapons,& a great campaign & well told story,but one phrase that comes to my mind when thinking about the R6 Vegas games,is "They give with one hand,& take away with the other".& by that i mean Both titles have online & offline campaign Co-Op(Great),but you never quite get it 'all' in either title..i'll explain.In Vegas 1,you can have 4 player Co-Op in the campaign(again,great),but when played in Co-Op,you dont get any story cutscenes or events.You merely play individual missions,without any sense of story.Now in Vegas 2,you have all the cutscenes & storytelling in Co-Op,but only 2 player Co-Op..Whats the crack!? can we have both next time please? is it too much to ask? But due to the fact that it does at least have on & offline Co-Op,& the whole story while doing so,plus other improvments,like being able to use your own custom character in all the modes including campaign,& the leveling system(PEC or Persistent Elite Creation),that unlocks more equipment,Armour & weapons,(You even see your rank badge on your character),in which you earn experience points in all modes,(Thankfully including campaign,for a change,for those like me,who have no interest in multiplayer modes)this game gets full marks from me.… Expand

    Very happy they did not change much from its predecessor. Finally a Developer which is thinking about the whole picture; adding level ups for everything in the game, Yay! I would give it a 10 but I was expecting more apparel to be added. The single player is much more interesting than before too.

    better then vegas 1 they changed almost all the things wrong with 1 A.I is a lot smarter on both sides. want to play realistic set your a.i to follow and let them work they will get more kills then you hows that for realistic. you mite get made as they have all the fun!

Graphics may not be as shiny as CoD4 but they are fantastic anyway, but realistic gameplay is what is going to catch you for hours and hours. Anyway, the first one was fantastic and this is pretty much the same game..sooo...yes its fantastic! Not quite a "true sequel" but you can not rate it down heavily because it "didnt do anything new" or "is more of the same"! More of the same = awesome!     More like Rainbow Six Vegas 1.5 - but that's ok because this game really is very good. Terrorist Hunt on Realistic almost makes this game worth the admission price alone. It is some of the most awesome heart-pounding fun you can have. The story mode is very good - again, you simply must play this on realistic. The A.I has been improved although there is still the ocassional dumbnessMore like Rainbow Six Vegas 1.5 - but that's ok because this game really is very good. The story mode is very good - again, you simply must play this on realistic. The A.I has been improved although there is still the ocassional dumbness from the A.I terrorists. Generally though, they are much smarter. XP is gained and carried forward in all modes now - great stuff - so by the time you play MP, you have levelled up quite a lot (especially if you play Terrorist Hunt!). OK, so the graphics are not COD4 standard, but don't let that put you off. Also, you need to play this game with more than just run and gun tactics. Play Terrorist Hunt to learn the maps before you play multiplayer - it'll help. Does it sound like I've become a Terrorist Hunt fanboy? you bet!… Expand

When playing I didn't have that feeling of old and used in my mouth. Minor changes within the game play create a fresh game that keeps the gamer coming back for more. The game fixed what I didn't like about the first game and made me love the experience even more for it. Few sequels improve as much as this game does when truthfully reflecting upon the game, it has so many changes that add up to create a wonderful, lasting experience. Graphics have also received a significant boost. When the playing the first one, sometimes I felt like I was playing an Xbox game. This one boosted the graphics to a satisfying level. I won't lie, it isn't anywhere close to Call of Duty 4's graphics, but the important part is that they pull me in. Which the first one didn't and the this one did. There are a few random parts that are Vegas 1 level (mostly vehicles have this problem). Looking at the game from a neutral view, I can easily say that this game warrants a nine.… Expand

    considering i'm an rpg guy - strictly rpg - this been the
    crossover (cross-hare? lol) game for me. i'll be renting
    every shooter out there! i found the plot to be quite alluring, especially with the terrorist aspect of it. definitely with the times. i highly recommend it to people who don't like shooters, normally. it's highly immersive and really interactive...    considering i'm an rpg guy - strictly rpg - this been the

    Of all the strengths of this game I really have to just revert back to aesthetics. Give it up for these freaking graphics! The trailers are OK, but when you actually see them for yourself you are convinced that the next next-gen consoles will look like real life. And this game isn't all that far off from it.     It's an out of favor genre, but Ubisoft delivers a great tactical shooter and sequel that exceeds the original. Graphics and Game Play are strong, with a deep package of Single Player Campaign, Terrorist Hunt Missions and a very good Multiplayer. The result is a stirring gaming experience, especially Calypso Casino with evenly matched quality teams. They need to make more games like this.

The cover system, the repel system, the weapons, the AI, it's just all around great. Terrorist Hunt makes this game really shine though. Playing that mode with friends is the most entertaining aspect. I strongly urge you to *NOT* listen to the negative reviews.This game is great fun. Playing with friends is an absolute blast.
