    Vegas 2 is an astonishingly good time. While its single-player mode is above average for what an FPS might offer, the game's two-playerVegas 2 is an astonishingly good time. While its single-player mode is above average for what an FPS might offer, the game's two-player Terrorist Hunt mode is where the game absolutely excels. From the progression cycle that allows you to upgrade your gear in an unobtrusive and meaningful way to the terrorists' meme-worthy quotes peppered throughout intermittent firefights, this game is masterful in its execution. The gameplay is suspenseful, the controls are smooth (albeit not absolutely perfect), and there is even a unique endearing charm to the game that helps it stand the test of time and age gracefully.

    Vegas 2 is leaps and bounds above many shooters in the genre. I would even dare to call it underrated, as this is not a game I often hear compared to the titans of the genre (i.e. Halo, Call of Duty, etc.), yet I firmly believe it deserves to stand among them.    … Full Review »
