RegnorVexMar 25, 2008Fun enough in SP but who buys a Clancy tactical shooter to play alone? The box is clearly marked "Multiplayer co-op 2-10", but when you get all 4 of your gang together and load up the game, you learn that it only supports TWO players in co-op story mode. How lame is that.

JustenK.Mar 19, 2008Plays exactly the same as the original, yet the level designs are bland and uninspired. This game is nothing but Ubisoft cashing in quick. Don't get me wrong it's fun to play, but should have been released as an ($40) expansion pack.

StuHillApr 2, 2008I was waiting for this game hoping that it would build on the last, but to just get a glorified add on pack is a bit of a con. The single player story is very short even on Realistic setting its not much challenge. The multiplayer is average but the host thing is really poor and the game seems very laggy. If COD4 wasn

DeNiroMar 19, 2008Boring and recycled. More of the same thing is a bad thing especially when RB6V version 1 had PS2 graphics and sound. If you but this game all your doing is filling Ubisoft's pockets while they come to the party with nothing.

Jan 19, 2014The single player campaign is ok for it's challenge but offers no real story you can get behind. You would think this would be more of the same and it kind of is but in the end I saw this as an add on for the co-op terrorist hunts, adding more maps but it seems that the AI has suffered as it just doesn't seem as sharp as the original. Still co-op saves the game.

Mar 30, 2018In my opinion Vegas 2 was the best rainbow six game in the series up to that point. Today standards the graphics are still good but the gameplay controls are a little wonky, also the A.I of the enemy can easily be exploited

Jun 19, 2019Honestly, I finish this game a long time ago, and I don't have my game analysis paper with me right now :(
But I give this game a score of 7 out of 10

A hell of a package. It's sort of a shame that so much of it is recycled from the last game, but nobody stops eating their favorite food because it's similar every time - and this is the Kobe beef of tactical FPS. [Apr 2008, p.80]
-
Ubisoft has taken a huge gamble by not making wholesale changes to Rainbow Six Vegas 2, but it's come up smelling liike roses. It's still one of the very best-value, high-quality FPS packages available on the 360. [Apr 2008, p.72]

Suffice it to say that if you enjoyed the first Rainbow Six: Vegas, then you will undoubtedly find considerable value in Vegas 2.
