    For the first time in the series, Episode 4 offers you a look behind the scenes of Fabletown. With Bigby still recovering from his wounds, he keeps on searching for the Crooked Man, and the tension this generates makes this one of the strongest episodes yet.

    Bigby is in a tough spot and the wait for episode 5 will be a painful one but seeing this tale wrap up is something I’m frothing at the mouth for.

    This chapter allows the player to unveil a few mysteries but lacks the tension that was ubiquitous in the former episode. Nevertheless, there are some memorable scenes to be a part of and it is definitely feels like the conclusion is going to be epic.

    The episode sets up for a genuinely interesting looking finale, one with the potential to make up for some of the missteps the season has taken on the way there. The fourth episode is the most compelling, from a plot and character perspective, since the first, and there’s one fight scene midway through that manages to be genuinely exciting. It’s also rather short though, ending just before things really ramp up.

    What Sheep does so elegantly is remind us that life is rarely as tidy as Snow's rules would allow, and that "right" is an ever-shifting concept. It gives us absurd characters like talking pigs and childhood boogeymen and makes them as real as we are, so that we ourselves feel like citizens of Fabletown, scraping to get by.

    In Sheep’s Clothing continues on the brutal and downright insane path that Smoke and Mirrors began. It’s a little on the short side, but Telltale uses the time to maximum effect through heightened drama and expansion of the game’s world and society. It’ll leave you excited for the final episode and angry that you can’t play it immediately after finishing this one.

    This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. This episode of the epic series is very critical in finding important details about the Crooked Man, but was the most general and lacks key points that could be introduced to further the gameplay. I feel that this episode was simply an intro to the end of the game and didn't include enough to be its own episode. I also wasn't satisfied on how Beauty and Beast changed their personalities so quickly. Initially, I thought that Beauty was a kind, humble person that was quickly there to help. Once I saw the image of their rich and fancy apartment, I can't help but take them as spoiled and selfish. Also the choices weren't as critical because Bigby still got to visit both the Lucky Pawn and the Meat Place. This doesn't put pressure on the player and therefore causes less suspense in the game. This game overall is very well put together and detailed. It is very atmospheric and is very popular due to the fact that you can "Choose your own Adventure". This game is truly unique just like all of the "Tell Tale Games" productions. This episode sets the stage, for what should be, a very interesting finale!… Full Review »

    Up to this episode we have been trying to piece together what is actually going on within fable town. We were able to figure something's out but this episode reveals how unstable fable town has become. This episode starts to put the pieces of the puzzle together and helps give us greater insight into what makes fable town tick.
    Although there still seems to be some technical difficulties within the game, it does detract from how the end of this episode sets the finale of the series up very nicely...I can't wait!    … Full Review »
