only 14 main missions and riddled with enemies that block super powers hindering freeplay in the city. The other side missions are mostly uninspired and take less than 30 seconds to complete and have about 5 different variants. Character customization / upgrades are all limited to skills doing more damage nothing more.
A very poor attempt at Prototype/Infamous fails at everything it does.

This is was just a poor effort of a game all around, it tried so hard to be good and like a superhero game such as prototype or infamous but the truth is the entire thing was a mess. Random events occurred constantly and if they weren't completed they would drop your 'goodness' level meaning the NPCs would dislike you. the missions were poorly designed too with not a great deal going onThis is was just a poor effort of a game all around, it tried so hard to be good and like a superhero game such as prototype or infamous but the truth is the entire thing was a mess. Random events occurred constantly and if they weren't completed they would drop your 'goodness' level meaning the NPCs would dislike you. the missions were poorly designed too with not a great deal going on within them. Not to mention the graphics, they looked worse than the spider-man 3 game. Also bugs were rampant in this pile of rubbish, the game would freeze and random intervals and just made me stop playing the game and move onto something more enjoyable. Overall, Terrible, simply terrible Expand

From developer Beenox we expected something more than a bland, open-world Spidey game that loses almost all its interest after 5 hours.

Beenox deliver a buggy, messy game that misses the essence of Spider-Man by a wide margin. Here’s hoping Activision entrusts the popular licence to another developer for the inevitable sequel.

The Amazing Spider-man draws too much direct inspiration from the Batman: Arkham series, implements it too unevenly to warrant much praise.
