Despite the involvement of many of Prison Break stars, The Conspiracy is just a game developed to make money with the pretext of its popular IP.

Licensed games can get away with a lot, but this doesn't even reach mediocre quality, with its core mechanics becoming woefully boring a fraction into the campaign.

Not even the most dedicated fan of the TV show could find this piece of garbage entertaining. Lock this let-down up and throw away the key.

If you are a big Prison Break fan and you still want to experience this title for yourself then do yourself a favor and rent it before you buy it so you know what you are getting into. Everyone else should just go watch the show via Netflix instant streaming.

Beyond a faithful representation of the TV series for what concerns atmosphere and characters, Prison Break: The Conspiracy proves to be a mediocre game, whose numerous faults, like the excessive linearity and frustrating stealth situations, give birth to a boring and repetitive gaming experience that won’t satisfy neither the fans of the show nor casual gamers.

As the plodding narrative progresses, these repetitive fighting and stealth tasks grow quickly tedious.

Prison Break is a disappointment on all fronts. The fighting system has been badly implanted and the presentation is lacklustre. The only redeeming features are the sneaking around and the development of the plot, but it’s not enough to keep this game from falling flat on it’s face. Someone throw the keys away.

If you've never seen the TV series there is no reason to purchase this game and if you have, there's still no reason to purchase it.

The events of Prison Break: The Conspiracy run concurrently with those of the series’ first season. It’s outcome is the same... and it doesn’t reveal anything that will please fans or cast new light on the show’s characters or plot lines.

If you want to live a long and healthy life, avoid at all costs.

When the only reason you're compelled to continue playing a game is to point and laugh at how badly the entire thing has been thrown together, you know that it has major problems.

Usually, spin-off games can fall back on their inherited audience of existing fans, but with a pointless story that adds nothing to a tale already completed, it's hard to see how even the most devoted follower could get more than an evening of mild amusement from such a scrawny experience.

A lazily cobbled-together, bargain basement piece of shovelware that deserves neither your time or money.

If you're a fan of Prison Break, why not consider assaulting some strangers and being sent to a real prison? You'll end up feeling marginally less violated than if you played this dog turd tie-in.

You'll pray for an early release from this cheap and nasty, and strangely belated, TV tie-in.

There's a quaint and mostly enjoyable familiarity to it all, but it's something only fans of the television series will appreciate, and then only momentarily. For anyone else, well, the horse is already dead.

Fans of the TV series might enjoy some scenes of the game, but the rest of the player should escape from the Prison Break videogame.

Although the game's stealth and combat elements are initially playable, they soon become dull and repetitive due to the uninspiring missions and tedious plot. [Issue#58, p.95]

This stealth game takes all the fun out of life in prison.

No matter how big a Prison Break fan you are, no matter how forgiving you can be, The Conspiracy is an abject failure on all counts.
