It's a decent game. The detail of the cars & tracks are great, but the A.I. sucks...not at all like real life.
First off, you have to be real precise when holding the ideal lane because the A.I. is super aggressive & they'll hit you out of the way if you're not in the ideal lane. Also, when you racing in a pack of cars, the slightest tap will send you spinning & cause a huge wreck. Yet,It's a decent game. Also, when you racing in a pack of cars, the slightest tap will send you spinning & cause a huge wreck. Yet, if you try to spin a car out, the A.I. will slide around, but quickly save it. The A.I. will also go 4 or 5 wide at Martinsville & New Hampshire (which is nothing like real life!), at those tracks in real life, the most you'll get is 2 wide.
What's also unrealistic is that some drivers aren't running where they do in real life. In this game, divers like; Kevin Harvick & Jimmie Johnson will be running 33rd & 36th while drivers like; Cole Whitt & Bobby Labonte will be running 4th & 5th! In real life, those roles would be reversed.
Overall, $20 is not a huge loss, and since Jeff Gordon is on the cover (he's my favourite driver), this game was still worth buying.… Expand
