MotoGP 10/11 turned out to be fairly decent if not altogether impressive. The career mode alone should keep even the most seasoned of players occupied for a considerable amount of time, not to mention the online portion of the game.

MotoGP 10/11 is a solid enough racer once you get to grips with the somewhat iffy handling. There are plenty of options to play with, a career mode that will keep you going and although the online racing aspect is likely to disappoint due to lack of opponents, it's decent enough when you find a lobby to your liking. The real drawback here is that things are identical to MotoGP 09/10, which again is identical to MotoGP 08. If you already have the previous title, it's debatable as to whether there's enough content here to warrant a full-price purchase, especially given the free 2010 season update for the last game. It's one to wait till the bargain bin beckons.

Monumental Games tried to create a game that would surpass the problematic 09/10 edition, and what they managed to do was to offer a slightly enhanced version, but with many issues, like dated graphics and poor AI. Still, the rich campaign mode and the promise of the future donwloadable 2011 season make MotoGP 10/11 an interesting addition to the genre.

Despite the subtle and underwhelming changes the game has undergone, MotoGP 10/11 is a better and more realistic race-game than its predecessor. There remains room for improvement, but the developer seems to be on the right track.

It's a thoroughly decent representation of the sport with a good range of modes and some fairly neat ideas, particularly in the career. That said, it's dangerously close to being the same package that last year's game was and, until the free 2011 season update arrives as DLC, it's hard to find a reason why gamers should pick this one up over a discounted copy of MotoGP 09/10.

MotoGP 10/11 is a decent game, nothing more than that. It has to be said that the new co-op mode is really great, but that's the only really cool addition to this newest game in the MotoGP franchise.

Absolutely standard seasonal update. [Apr 2011, p.95]

All the flaws combined don't sink the game as much as they simply make it frustrating to play and for purists the physics will certainly cause eyebrows to raise. Moto GP10/11 is best suited for racing fans who simply want to hop on a bike and go while leaving believability at the door.

MotoGP 10/11 will disappoint anyone who enjoyed last year's game. In short, the 'all-new handling' the game uses as a selling point makes for a game lodged between two conflicting race genres.

It's great that MotoGP 10/11 adopts a more realistic simulation approach to the game, but I found the handling of the bike frustrating in certain situations.

If you have any of the recent versions, there's no reason for you to upgrade here. [Issue#71, p.86]

A game with too many flaws and few qualities. We liked the new split-screen career co-op, but shoddy graphics, bad crashes management and poor enemy AI keep it from being a real alternative for bike racing enthusiasts.

Other than updating the teams and riders, MotoGP 10/11 seems to have stalled on the line. [May 2011, p.96]

The new physics engine and split screen gameplay are nice additions, but only the real fans will apprecitate the other new features. If you have an older version then it ought to suit you fine for now.

Flawed motorcycle physics and lackluster graphics hold back the potential of this official MotoGP racer.

With no improvements since MotoGP 09/10, GP 10/11's flaws show themselves even more. [May 2011, p.98]
