It's never as smooth and intuitive as it needs to be. But don't let that put you off at least trying out one of the most creative motion-based games yet.

Leedmees offers a fun twist on the Lemmings formula but bites off more than it can chew.

This sort of inoffensive and undeniably unique bite-sized offering should play well with families, and for the rest of us, we can only hope it's but a stepping stone on the path to richer and equally affordable Kinect experiences on the horizon.

Lemmings is cult, so a similar principle adapted to Kinect surely has potential. Unfortunately, much of this potential goes untapped in Leedmees, as controls feel too imprecise and the music is monotonous. No competition for the XBLA Summer of Arcade highlights.

The presentation of Leedmees is clear and crisp, but won't blow you away. You can get through the single player levels in about three hours, although naturally it'll take longer if you want to get good rankings. The multiplayer suite of levels also helps to eke out the longevity.

    Rather charming. [Issue#78, p.103]

its a really bad game and it wont work like its supposed to; it glitches often; it moves without me moving; and it throws the leedmees
