This attention to detail and the recreation of a genuine park experience makes any shortcomings forgivable. When the Kinect controller (for space, light or other environmental reasons) takes a little time to get setup it's less frustrating because the end result is worth it.

In a way, it's more exploring a virtual theme park than an actual game, but that's a good thing. Kids get to explore the amusement park 2.0 at their own discretion. Simple fun with their favorite attractions or go on a big adventure, exploring everything – it's their choice. A second player is more along for the ride than anything, but the look, the Disney atmosphere and the beloved characters' voices are all there. Frontier Development tops Kinectimals with this one, the best Kinect kid's game yet and one of the best Kinect titles overall.

A very good game for our children, that will be able to taste the Disneyland parks magic without leaving their homes.

Kinect Disneyland Adventures is without a doubt one of the best Kinect games ever made, and may top the list for many. There is a prerequisite love for Disney needed in order to fully enjoy it, but anyone who has been to Disneyland (or wanted to go, but lives somewhere far away where all they have is a Busch Gardens), the game captures the park amazingly well.

The self-guided approach and wealth of unlockable content makes this one trip to Disneyland you can't complete in a day.

For any family with a Kinect in the house, this game is a no-brainer. The kids can play together with drop-in and drop-out cooperative play, and loved being able to hug their favorite characters, dance with the princesses and fly with Peter Pan. The only downside? Now the kids REALLY want to go to Disneyland.

A thoroughly enjoyable Kinect experience and highly recommended for the wee ones this Christmas.

Kinect Disneyland Adventures gives you the feeling that you're actually there, asking Mickey Mouse for autographs. Most minigames are a lot of fun and are perfect for children. However, more mini-games and more varied quests could have made this game a lot better.

Kinect: Disneyland Adventures isn't for the jaded gamer who thrives on competition or conflict. It's intended for kids and those who are still enamored with The Magic Kingdom, and Frontier Developments should be commended for a very enjoyable and polished product.

Features one of the most iconic and wonderfully-realized gaming locations of all time. With so much to see and do, it's a fantastic gaming experience for all of the family and so much more than a minigame compilation.

The joy here comes from the interaction and the allowing of yourself to be caught up in the world on offer. Yes, if you're over the age of 12 or not a Disney fanatic you'll grow bored of it but everyone else will be having a great time.

Disneyland Adventures succeeds in recreating a reasonable facsimile of the Disneyland experience. The open world is accurate enough to be passed off as an interactive tour of the park and there are some genuine treats in its collection of mini-games.

Kinect Disneyland Adventures really is a dream come true – but, please, don't let it stop you from seeing the real thing.

It is very deep, with over 100 quests and activities, and that's not to mention all of the unlockables and surprises that can be found around the park. Disneyland Adventures is a game of discovery for kids (and the kids-at-heart).

A day at Disneyland isn't that way. Kinect gets its game maybe larger and more varied, but it isn't exciting and seems slow. Besides, the interpretation of player's movements on screen is not accurate, it isn't fast, creating many gameplay mistakes. Children may like this game a lot, if they are patient.

This clearly isn't a game for the hardcore cynics out there. It is, however, another solid option for families looking for a new game to add to their library or for Disney junkies looking for another fix. Best of all, you don't need to worry finding your car when you're done.

The game is very well made and cand surprise many people for the great amount of content it offers, with around 25 hours of play, and its characters' charm. A very polished game that children will enjoy.
