    Grand Theft Auto IV was a technical marvel at the time of release, and boasts a physics engine that has seldom been topped in the sixteen years since it's release. Gone are the cartoony visuals of the previous three games in the series (for better or worse), but the realism they were going for was pulled off surprisingly well for a video game that released all the way back in 2007.

    The story and characters, while not my personal favorite, are among the best and most interesting that Rockstar has ever created. I've always thought of GTA IV as a sort of spiritual successor to GTA III (as GTA V would later be to San Andreas) and in that regard it's an absolute home run. When "The Lost and The Damned" and "The Ballad of Gay Tony" are added in to the mix, it's not hard to see why people hold this entry in such high regard. The only thing that holds it back from being a perfect 10 in my book is that the gritty, realistic tone often keeps it from being as fun as it really should be.    … Expand

    Grand Theft Auto IV tem uma das melhores histórias da franquia, uma gameplay realista, mesmo que em alguns momentos frustrante, excelentes personagens. Ele peca um pouco no seu mundo aberto sem muita coisa para se fazer, história se arrasta um pouco, mas nada que lhe afaste seu interesse da história. GTA IV é uma obra prima da geração do Xbox 360 e PS3

    (2010/2023) En su momento fue uno de los juegos que mas deseaba tener en mi vida lo jugue 2 años despues de su lanzamiento en XBOX 360 he incluso despues de acabarlo lo seguia disfrutando con tan solo el simple hecho de andar por alli de fiesta con los amigos de niko, Ahora en 2023 me lo he comprado para el Xbox Series S para jugar sus expansiones y la verdad se sigue sintiendo igual de(2010/2023) En su momento fue uno de los juegos que mas deseaba tener en mi vida lo jugue 2 años despues de su lanzamiento en XBOX 360 he incluso despues de acabarlo lo seguia disfrutando con tan solo el simple hecho de andar por alli de fiesta con los amigos de niko, Ahora en 2023 me lo he comprado para el Xbox Series S para jugar sus expansiones y la verdad se sigue sintiendo igual de divertido jugarlo un 10/10

    GTA is the same game recycled over and over just like cod and many more these days. Anything in GTA series should not even be close to a ninety. San Andreas maybe because it brought a lot of new and fresh ideas. Still same old game though

    This game is a masterpiece quite fun to play! the freedom this games gives you is amazing... you can climb, drive, fly, steal, kill, run from the cops and pretty much anything you want! the story is one of the best i have seen in a video game, the main character is so charimatic too, i could rate this game a 10 but there are 2 things i hate about this game, one if the Physics and theThis game is a masterpiece quite fun to play! the freedom this games gives you is amazing... you can climb, drive, fly, steal, kill, run from the cops and pretty much anything you want! the story is one of the best i have seen in a video game, the main character is so charimatic too, i could rate this game a 10 but there are 2 things i hate about this game, one if the Physics and the controls, the controls are HORRIBLE BIG TIME, if you spend a lot of time playing this game on Xbox Live you would know what i am saying... some times the slightest move on the stick your char will do what the hell it wants, also the physics make the gameplay SLOW... i MEAN IT, sometimes you feel like everything is in slow motion.

    But still one of the greatest games i have ever played. My individual score for GTA4 is 96 out of 100.    … Expand

    While GTA makes use of the Xbox 360's far superior technical specs to create an amazing elaborate and lifelike city to roam around, the lack of likeable characters and sense of humour make it far less fun to play than the PS2 GTA games. Technically very impressive, but ti's yet another case of developers prioritising realism over fun.

    This game is still number one today to play now that people are pretty much tired of GTA V this one has more stuff that GTA V is missing in the physics are funny even though the driving controls is trash but the game looks and feels more realistic than GTA V and of course the online servers for GTA IV is going strong nowadays even at 3am they’re still up

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Every Gta game makes you live in the "American Dream", Gta IV makes you question the "American Dream". With its gritty, dark, story and massive New York City-inspired map, Liberty City. A Yugoslavian War Veteran whose past consisted of selling, beating, and killing people and children arrives to Liberty City for a fresh new start, But after his cousin is beat-up by Loan-Sharks, his life changes forever as he has to repay the debt of his cousin by turning to the criminal underworld. In GTA IV, you will experience betrayal by the people you think are your closest friends, you will betray people yourself who are your "close friends" and you will have an arsenal of weapons and cars to mess around with in an Ugly, dark, city like Liberty City with the Euphoria Engine Physics. It's a castle for the rich, and a wooden shack for the poor which your character will go through these changes. Have fun in this game, but remember. Trust no one, and this isn't your typical American Dream...… Expand

    Muy bueno, ya que posee una historia muy buena igual que sus expansiones, es divertido de jugar y me gustan sus personajes, físicas y los gráficos me parecen buenos para la época. Me encanta mucho espero que le hagan un remaster o algo parecido para volverlo a disfrutar y en Next-Gen. Juegazo como los de Rockstar

    When I first played GTA 4 I was amazed by the graphics and the new physics engine, the game felt so realistic and Liberty City looked awesome.
    The story of Niko Bellic is one of the best in the franchise, they did a really good job.
    Niko is one of my favourite GTA characters after CJ from San Andreas.

    This is SUCH a great game that really stood the test of its time. But i don’t think it’s not as great as reviewers like IGN (who gave it a 10 out of 10), but it was great because it was the only GTA on the 360 at the time.

    Some games age well, others do not. This one is somewhere in the middle. It is painful gameplay wise, but it is good in a sense of the characters and the world that you can interact with. If you can handle clunky controls, then its a fun time.
