    I've only played about 8 missions so far, but all the commentary had me cracking up. The story so far is amazing, voice acting is stunning. And the graphics are beautiful. This game is the closest thing to perfection.

    Excellent. I'd probably give it a 9.9 if I could...the framerate issues and lack of checkpoints on missions take it down a notch. Otherwise, the game has everything....EVERYTHING. It will be the best $60 you will spend on your Xbox 360 or PS3. The detail is unbelievable. Physics are awesome. The story is on par with the best in cinema. Hang around waiting?     This game is incredible. The aiming system is a real revolution in my eyes. I've never seen anything like it. The guns feel precise and powerful in a realistic way. The aiming system involves both a free-aim and a targeted aim where the crosshairs stay with the target, but you can move them relative to their center of mass. Here's a tip: hold the handbrake, don't tap it. Also, going slow has its merits. The physics are simply amazing. Very realistic. 10/10 is everything this game deserves.… Expand

    I've played this game for 12 hours straight and I have to say, while it does have its (very VERY slight) problems, this is one of the best games I have ever played. Period.

    Its no reason why this game should be less than a 10. i have only play for about 1 hr and I didnt want to put it down.

    Outstanding game, I can't put the controller down. I think my girlfriend will be jealous of the time spent very quickly.

    It's just GTA with a more powerful graphics engine. It's no where near as good as the acclaim it's getting. If you like the other GTA's, this is the game for you.

    Not perfect, but damn this is a brilliant piece of artwork and constructive media. It deserves every cent/penny that it earns. (this is a 9.999999999 but the option wasn't there).

    This game is awesome, the graphics are stunning, the story is mind blowing, and the gameplay is a step up from before. Multiplayer is also a welcome addition to the series, the game types will ensure hours of play after completing the final game.

    Good looking game but far too much hanging around waiting for something to happen for my liking. If you love GTA, you'll probably LOVE this, if you love games, you'll just LIKE this.

    I played this game before anybody on this website considering that I do get games before they are released. GTA4 is a masterpiece and I don't think users should be able to vote before it comes out because that lets other users think that it might not be a good game considering that most of the users don't know what the hell they are talking about. This game shows a great amount of scenery, nice detail in the characters, perfect engine for rag-doll effect. The massive amount of exploring also makes this game even better.     This is the best game I ever played in my life! I'm 19 years old and I was playing many, many, many games. I don't was playing on multiplayer but singleplayer is awseome!! Everything is very good. I don't understand why users give that low score. I love it.

    Surpasses that which has been tried in this generation. The multiplayer is a must play, single player is amazing, and the ability of Rockstar Games to pay attention to the tiniest details is beyond words.

    Epic on all levels, the music, the city, the peds, the vehicles. This game accomplishes what most games can only dream of and then some. Rockstar once again topped their previous efforts and put to shame the GTA clones. And don't even get me started on how amazing the multiplayer is. Now I must get some sleep.

    Game is insane. Visuals are awesome and physics are really good too. For example, very satisfying to run people over with the car and backup over them and see the car ride over them like a bump. And to shoot people in the head while theyâ??re on the ground and blood splatters on the screen and watch it ooze onto the ground. Lots and lots of stuff to do besides missions. For example, I went on a bowling date with a chickâ?¦tried to call her for another date to see if I could get laid the second time, but missed the date (she kept callin/textin to see where I was) cause instead ended up going to a strip club with a buddy. Got excited to see the strippers and tried to jump up on stageâ?¦so the bouncers threw us out. So I went back in with my piece and shot everyone dead. Then the Cops flooded the place so I had a shootout with them till I ran out of ammo and died. That was all sandbox thing, not a real mission. Funnest game I've ever played.… Expand

    I could go on and on about why Grand Theft Auto IV is one of the best games we've ever seen and why even folks who are easily offended should play it, but that would be pointless. The only thing you need to know is that you have to play this game. Period.
