    Before I say anything negative there are a couple of positive things about Horizon 2 for the xbox360. The game does have a larger roster of vehicles than Horizon 1, though most of them are vehicles from previous Forza games. Also the map does seem to be a bit larger than Horizon 1 but not by a lot.
    However, the game is certainly not even close to the xbox1 version. The first thing I    Before I say anything negative there are a couple of positive things about Horizon 2 for the xbox360.     However, the game is certainly not even close to the xbox1 version. The first thing I noticed is there is no random matchmade free-roam in the xbox360 version. I don't know how this is not possible as Horizon 1 had it, and to me was the only multiplayer option that was any fun. So unless you have friends who have the game, no multiplayer free-roam for xbox360. The game has literally no difference in graphic fidelity from Horizon 1. In some parts of the map the lack of detail is horrible and looks very lazily executed and perhaps even less polished than Horizon 1. The AI vehicles seem to be either programmed incorrectly or not at all and seem to glitch often, as I have encountered traffic cars that are upside-down, driving at night with no lights on, driving in the middle of the road, or randomly teleporting in front of me. At times the roads seem to be void of activity at all. The off-road portion of the game seems to be heavily scaled down for the xbox360 version as well. Many areas of the map have been walled off for the 360 version, and again the detail in the landscape is nearly absent completely.
    I do not know what the differences in campaign between the two versions are as I don't play these games for the campaign..but I'm sure there are many things missing there as well.
    It really is a shame that SUMO DIGITAL didn't deliver or at least come close to the version released on the xbox1 (within the limits of the 360), had I known of the lack of quality that this version presents I would not have purchased and regret doing so.
    So in conclusion, if you have an xbox1 and like Forza then I would say this game is worth it. If you have a xbox360 I would recommend buying Horizon 1 rather than 2 as you will be far less disappointed.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. On its own, it's actually a pretty good game. Very nice selection of cars, good music, nice setting in France and Italy, graphics and physics are as good as you'd expect of a late 360 game.

    But compare it to the Xbox One version and it looks like half a game - cut content everywhere. The docks and golf course amongst other areas are blocked off by walls, the environment looks empty and lacks the detail of the Xbox One, lighting and graphical details are understandably weaker, sound is poor as the vehicles and music seem muted to me even on the loudest setting, no weather (this is annoying because much older games have managed weather and day/night cycles with no problem), half as many radio stations (3 to 6), and the credit rewards for leveling up and winning the championship race are way lower (360: 2500cr for leveling up and 25,000 for winning the game, One: up to 100,000cr or a random prize car for leveling up and 1,000,000 for winning the game). Upgrading cars at the garage is different, and you cannot even tune cars on the 360. They also announced there will be no DLC for this version.

    Compare it to its predecessor and it falls short again. The original game despite coming out in late 2012 is just as good in terms of graphics and physics. But the single player mode had better progression, some really fun races (this has half as many showcase events and rewards lower value cars, and there are no rival racers like in the last game who you can race to win their cars that I have encountered so far), and much much better reward cars and credit prizes for winning (I won over 10,000,000cr for winning the championship in Horizon 1 which is way more than you can get in this game).

    Overall, this is not a bad game. I'd give it about 7/10. But compare it to the Xbox One or old game and it is really disappointing. If you have the One or don't mind buying it, get the One version which is excellent. If you have a 360, I advise you to get the original which is half the price and just as good and then you could get some DLC packs with the money saved.    … Expand

    This game is terrible! I repeat terrible. if you want to buy forza horizon 2 its basically forza horizon 1 just a different map. all the good extras are for the xbox one? like really? I get it they want us to buy the xbox one but seriously? So I got the game what do I get? Bent over... I got bent over.

    NO TUNING
    No DLC so the 360 is stuck with the extremely small amount of cars.
    Multiplayer can only have 8 players.
    Cannot change the weather.
    Less campaign and less side events.
    Horrible graphics, early Xbox 360 graphics. No foliage.
    No storefront for custom built upgrades.
    Obviously no Drivatars.
    No car meets.
    Multiplayer has no traffic.

    WOW that's a long list. My biggest gripe is no tuning... Forza without tuning do you know how badly that kills this game? No uploading tune setups to your store, no customizing a car to your liking. Forza 4 did that on the 360... why can't Horizon 2 have it? This isn't because "the 360 can't handle all that" this is pandering to Microsoft. They wanted to make a crappy version on the 360 so you'll be coaxed into buying the new Xbox One. They lied about this game and I strongly urge you, do not buy it. Do not support it, no not defend it. Don't even pay attention to it. If you have an Xbox One, sure get it. You got the good version of the game but I'm talking to all the 360 owners.

    Oh Turn10 here's some statistics for you. There are 30 million people on Xbox 360 right now, there are only 5 million on Xbox One. You completely screwed over your fans on this one. I'm getting a full refund and I'm not even going to bother getting it if or when I do get an Xbox One... although I really don't want to. However it is Called Forza Horizon 2 and although it shares the game mechanics with the original Forza Horizon, it is nowhere near as good. The attention to detail just isn't there. The available cars are not as exiting, The sceneryForza Horizon 2 on the Xbox 360 is not really a bad game.     Anyway, onto the review. Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox 360 is one of those games with a great premise, but executed poorly in terms of communication, cut content and design decisions. I am sure SUMO DIGITAL (the developers of the 360 version) tried their best but, unfortunately, the game falls way off the mark, and to be honest, from a critical point of view, should not really of even bothered releasing it for the 360 at all. Onto the differences:

    - Graphics: As expected, and we all expected they are vastly the different. The cars actually, do not look to bad, perhaps a little better in terms of forza horizon 1, but it's the environments that stick out like a sore thumb. Muddy, washed out and lifeless environments all across the map showcase just how much the 360 is on it's last legs HOWEVER, in actual fact, show a severe lack of good judgement in design because they are worse, much worse than expected. The offroad areas, fields and hills, grass and forests, meadows and that are all scaled way back and way down, no details, less/no trees/bushes/plants/flowers/vines etc, no far clip or close clip details for grass or bushes or any foliage. Environments look ghostly, empty and just as if they are there to "fill in" the game, but in what can at times look like an original XBOX game environments. Particles are reduced, cars no longer get dust, damage system is scaled back, the lighting engine, tries it's best, but ultimately fails in contrast to the environments and making them look nice. All of this was expected, but to this extent?! Is a major let down, GTA 5 does a much better job of the country side and that in some ways is a much bigger game than this.

    - Sound: This is a big one, first and foremost, the sound design on the xbox one is vastly superior as they have been able to dedicate more resources into audio design, cars sound great, realistic, and how intimate details of there audio enchanced far more than the first game. For the 360 version...another let down. The wonderful Lambo Hurracan and many many of the cars V8s and V6's ETC sound muted, quiet and very different. Other cars sound muffled and quieter, with no directly obvious 3d audio and very little depth. MANY details have been removed from the engine audio, reverb, roll offs, sputter and all sorts. They are worse than normal forza games, maybe a tiny tiny bit louder than forza horizon 1, but they are aweful. Each car sounds far from the real life version except in a few special cases, where as the Xbox One version, each cars sounds highly detailed, beautiful engine audio, loud extensive details and a clearl distinguish between engine types.

    - Gameplay/Physics etc is another thing that has changed, with no open wheel cars, different car list consisting of about 20 cars different from the X1 version, less radio stations, less traffic, lifeless zones with no people, no tuning, no drivatars, 200 events LESS than X1 version, a smaller map, NO PROPER DLC, CUT CARS such as the FREE X1 launch pack, no 2015 mustang for you or Land Rover Defender or Clio Williams plus many other issues...physics and driving model is another issue. Cars are icey, floaty and appear to slide aorund everywhere. When they take jumps, they land with much less force, bashing or crashing or off road driving feels less intense because of how loose the physics are, compared to how tight they are in the X1 version. Damage models suffer from suferfical minor damage at most, compared to greater detail. Lack of weather is another limitation of the 360, but perhaps at least having some wet roads, or fog here and there would of been something. Overall, at first glance it may not seem like it but dick deeper, Ralph was correct when he said "these are two different games" across the consoles.

    - Conclusion TL;DR if you can afford to save up and get an X1, i'd highly suggest you do to get the proper, full version of the game experience. FH2 on 360 suffers from a long list of issues that yes, are to be expected by hardware limitation BUT seem to be taken to far in terms of gameplay, sound desigin and graphics. Not only are there as of writing (1/10/2014) no official reviews for the 360 version ANYWHERE, there is no news on DLC or post support which is just shameful, both versions deserve the attention, despite being different. So overall, a fun game that is let down by it's hardware and design decisions, not reccommended unless you want a slightly better looking forza horizon 1 but with a much more limiting scope. It's a game that shows the hardwares age, the decision to develop for the 360 was a bit crazy at best. A huge let down that was poorly executed on the 360. Unless you are an absolute Forza NUTTER, avoid this version, and save up for the X1 and get that version, you'll be amazed at the differences.

    Been playing horizon 2 since release and I had really high hopes for it from the first horizon but it has really disappointed me that the in game mechanics is very inconsistent and it has ruined the game for that, for example I would be driving alone at about 150-160mph then a random invisible wall stops me dead in the middle of an open road.     Its the worst forza ever. Graphic is awful. There are lot of glitches in game. No dlc, no patches for it. Not worth even 5 dollars for me. Better go for crew or nfs rivals.

There were features advertised on the back of the case that were completely nonexistent in-game. 1st of all: you can't crash through fences. OH, COME ON! Upon my first play of the game, I tried hitting a WOODEN fence thinking that the thing was gonna crumble. Guess what? It wrecked my car, right then and there. 2nd of all:The Xbox One version was fantastic. The Xbox 360 version? Rubbish.     Bad. No online free roam. Bland, featureless terrain. Severe lack of AI traffic. Customisation options removed. No DLC. No wheelspin car rewards. I expect a sequel to be better than the original game. This falls far short, and is a lesser game than Horizon 1.

    this was forzas worst game EVER i mean the part that dissapoints me the most is the end when you play the horizon finale its a nice race but at the end ypu only get 25,00 cr and 20,000 xp seorisly in the first one you got 5,000,000 cr and i nice car this game sucks do NOOOOTT buy it

    I will say first off that I felt hugely ripped off by this game. Not because it is a particularly bad game in its own right, but because it is effectively exactly the same game as the first Forza Horizon. There is literally zero evolution in the gameplay, driving experience or graphics.
    It feels like a very lazy re-skinning of the first game, and the new level of France / Italy, while    I will say first off that I felt hugely ripped off by this game. Not because it is a particularly bad game in its own right, but because it is effectively exactly the same game as the first Forza Horizon. There is literally zero evolution in the gameplay, driving experience or graphics.
    It feels like a very lazy re-skinning of the first game, and the new level of France / Italy, while very large, looks poorly executed and uninspiring compared the Colorado level of the first Horizon. The off-road driving is also laughably bad, Forza's race-track based physics engine quickly falls over when asked to deal with jumps and rough ground. 95% of the cars are clearly recycled from the first game, and they somehow managed to make the in game voice-overs even more annoying and patronising.

    I appreciate that the xb-one is the primary intended platform for Forza horizon 2, but honestly this xb360 version is so lazily put together and devoid of new features that its insulting. This game is a complete cash-cow for the Turn-10 guys and I would recommend not wasting money on it (buy the first Horizon instead if you don't own it already)    … Expand

    I know it is primarily for xbone but when the original was so good how can you make this sooooooooo bad?
    Why not just update Horizon add the newer cars and the new map some different features? but to totally remove stuff and the engine sounds ..... are there any ? Dont buy it you will be bitterly disappointed. But    WOW !!!! From Forza Horizion (10 out of 10) to this S**te (0 out of 10).

First off their made by two different developers Playground Games (Xbox One) and Sumo Digital (360), which is exactly what drastically changes your gameplay experience. No downloadable content, no weather changes such as rain the biggest weather switch up in a racing game that there could be or snow I guess for that matter. Anyway there are also major changes like your very little freedom in your free roam experience for instance the Xbox One version has very little restrictions such as fencing surrounding areas you would otherwise be able to easily access but on the 360 version you have indestructible fences and brick walls on just about every open area you can see making your open world very narrow sending you off with very few routes to take you where you want to go. Another big issue I have with this version is that the leveling system between the two are majorly different. Leveling up on the One means a major credit boost and a level up wheel where you could possibly get a car when spinning whereas on the 360 there is no such wheel to give you that extra edge or possibility at a free car. All in all Forza Horizon 2 for the Xbox 360 feels like a beta compared to the Xbox One, not because of the graphics, but because of the major and miniscule gameplay differences the biggest being no random online free roam no weather and the biggest problem.     I am massively disappointed! I've been awaiting this game since it was rumoured. Horizon 1 was my all time favourite game, this is a huge disappointment. Crap graphics, worse physics, glitchy, NO story line. Its as if they have just gone and said **** the 360 version". I will get my money back!!

    It is f*cking awesome, really. But only on XBOX ONE. Sure, maybe it is because the game was made especially for the next generation, but there are a lot of differences. So, XBOX360 Edition could not be published.

This gives you an opportunity to win anything from 1,000cr. to 150,000cr. to a Honda CR-X to even a Ferrari 250 GTO (6,000,000cr.) and if you have VIP, if you win credits, they're DOUBLED, and if you win a car, you win the car AND the value of the car. On the 360? You get 2,500cr. In other words, if you wanted to buy a Ferrari 458 Italia, you would have to rank up to level 88 without spending a dime (granted, you win miniscule amounts of money for races). If you're like me, on the Xbox One, at level 73 (a few months ago) I had bought all but the 7 most expensive cars in the game and had a sum of around 1,600,000 credits. And yes, I had one a 458 Italia. The games are just so vastly different, and honestly, this doesn't feel like another installment to the Forza Horizon franchise. It feels like a mediocre expansion pack to Forza Horizon 1. If you can grab the game for $10 and you absolutely love driving in any game, go for it. If you want another Forza game, spend the money on an Xbox One and a copy for it. I wouldn't advise any of my friends to buy the Xbox 360 version of this game. It was a quick rip off cash grab from T10 and Microsoft, and that's it. Not to mention that they lied about the differences between the two games.    … Expand

Se vc pegar Destiny por exemplo... ele eh muito mais belo na geração atual... mas a versão de xbox 360 eh a mesma coisa... mas sem os gráficos mais foda.… Expand

For 1, it is completely broken, You can't change cars while you're moving or your whole system crashes, there are completely smooth roads that make your car bounce like a small child in a bouncing castle and occasionally your car will flip 10000 ft in the air while driving on a highway!     i will be short. This game is garbage. This is the only game that makes my Xbox freeze. The only good thing about the game is quite nice open world. Rest is bad: physics, sounds, racing, rivals, multiplayer, low framerate. If devs at least would have created it glitch free and stable it would be playable. But that is not the case.

(sei que alguns gostaram) olha tem 3 radios, horizon pulse, horizon bass arena e horizon xs, vou resumi-las.

O jogo é curto ( zerei em um dia ), tem gráficos feios, a IA é extremamente quebrada, e é extremamente bugado, sem falar que 60% do conteúdo do jogo foi cortado no Xbox 360. It's a downgrade in every single aspect,not only for the Xbox One version (which is comprehensible due to technical limitations), but for the majority of the Forza titles from the Xbox 360.

    The    The last Forza game for the Xbox 360, Forza Horizon 2, is one of these games that I wonder: "What were they thinking while making this?", because this version shouldn't exist in the first place. It's a downgrade in every single aspect,not only for the Xbox One version (which is comprehensible due to technical limitations), but for the majority of the Forza titles from the Xbox 360.

    The ambiantation in this version is absolutely horrendous, prolly the worst in the entire franchise. Some landscapes look empty due to the lack of vegetation, especially in the cross country areas. It feels very blend, graphically ugly and, to be completely honest, it falls flat even for Xbox 360 standards (which weren’t bad at all), being a lot worse than Horizon 1, a game that took the ambientation to a whole nother level.

    This game also kind sucks in the campaign mode, being very repetitive in its structure of “after you do a bunch of tournaments in one city, you go to another and repeat the process until the end, just so you can earn FIFTY GRAND AT THE FINAL RACE (at best, because if you have the assists turned on, you earn only 20k)”. The only thing to make this campaign more bearable is the fact that it is actually fairly short to reach any%.

    The car list and handling are probably the strongest point of this version, being worse than the major version, but still being consistent enough to have a nice variety of vehicles and a bigger car list than its predecessor. The handling and customization options are the very same from Horizon 1, having the annoyance of being unable to tune you vehicle,but also being decent enough for you to upgrade your car. The driving experience is the same as Horizon 1, however, despite being good, it sometimes sucks in the Cross Country events since it was not well polished for these events.

    The worst point in this game, however, is how poorly optimized this crap is. I cannot measure how many times my game has crashed whenever I wanted to switch cars or while loading into races. Basically the polishement of this game, which was supposed to be good since this version was made for this specific console, is terrible.

    So, what is my verdict? Well, this game SUCKS and, despite sharing the same map as the Xbox One version, this is a totally different game, which isn’t always a bad thing, but when the experience is so sloppy and unpolished, it’s impossible to enjoy the game. If it was more refined, this would get 5/10, simply due due to the overall good driving experience, but since the optimization for this Xbox 360 adaptation is garbage, it only gets a 3/10 since it completely ruins this already mediocre experience.    … Expand
