Game InformerStrikes a great balance between simplicity and flexibility. [Dec 2005, p.165]
-
There are certainly worst ways to spend your money, but then again, there are much better games on the Xbox 360 lineup right now.
-
It brings the sport of soccer to life in vibrant detail and fairly solid controls, even though the lack of modes is a bit off-putting.
-
The game comes with many buzzes and whistles even though some were left out, but what good are all the graphics and controls if the game falls flat on gameplay.
-
A very good start for EA with this franchise, as they tuned up the sim, tuned down the arcade, and created a nice cushion to bounce off for future titles.
-
Not quite the next-generation game I was hoping for... But the World Cup mode is still very strong, and there is Xbox Live, which is always a good thing.
-
Its lack of variety in the game mode department will turn off those gamers who love the FIFA Soccer series but at least it plays well enough to keep soccer fans busy until next year’s game.
-
This is not a bad game but it does feel like you are getting a lot less of the game for a higher retail price compared with the Xbox version.
