    Brilliant open world game with so much to see and do. I love games that allow me to explore go anywhere do anything as i wish, and Far Cry 3 allows me to do that and so much more. A few of the missions in the campaign are a little poo, but the rest is just fantastic. Can't wait for Far Cry 4 on next gen.

    A near perfect game with dozens of hours worth of gameplay. A big step up from Far Cry 2. The graphics are beautiful and the sound design really makes the game come alive.

The gameplay is fun and immersive, everything can be going right while you're setting some wild pig on fire, then out of nowhere a lion is mauling you in the face, and some pirates decide to throw bullets and an rpg-7 at you. The locale and graphics are stunning, enough to keep you simply looking around for hours, much like Skyrim.

    Great plot, too much action, with marking characters, a giant world with too much missions, sidequests and immeasurable freedom. Even not being a role-playing game (having only elements of it) has an incredible immersion.

    Far Cry 3 combined the multi-faceted action, open world and not a bad screenplay. Stated promises made ​​almost flawlessly, and such honesty is worthy of awards. The problems, of course, there are, but in this particular case, we will gladly about them forget.

    My favorite Far Cry game of the series. A good story, good game-play and was the first game that took a turn in the direction where all the Far Cry games are now. Vaas Montenegro is one the most memorable antagonist ever and was the highlight of this game. Unfortunately the ending is lackluster and my biggest disappointment with this game. All in all a must for Far Cry fans and people whoMy favorite Far Cry game of the series.     Far Cry 3 is the definition of insanity. Everything about it is just plain crazy and over the top, which is why it is one of the best games I have played in a long time.

    Beautiful open-world environment. Superb cover mechanics in gunfights. Great leveling-up and crafting system. Rarely have I felt so nervous to venture out into unknown territory, but the difficulty level is perfect. The villain's voice actor may actually be a psycho in real life.     This is a great game. It's epic. The only reason I am not giving it a ten is because it's not the best I've ever played, but it's def one of the tops on the list. It gas a great level up system.     Also I have noticed that ppl complain about there not being a lot of guns. But there is a decent amount and you have many mod options on em. And I'm sure the ppl complaining didn't do as many side missions as me. To let you in without a spoiler . Let's just say there are quite a few more guns than you are expected to believe.    … Expand

Ubisoft do though, they've made an open-world first-person shooter called Far Cry 3. We don't get games of this kind nowadays, but this has been pulled off. It's an outstanding game and one that everyone should pick up. This is a game with reasons to explore, an engaging story and satisfying gameplay. It's spectacular!

    Far Cry 3 has a meaningful story that will put you on the edge of your seat. You play as Jason Brody who's friends have been captured on an Asian island during a vacation. It's Jason's job to save his friends and seek revenge on Vaas Montenegro who has killed your brother and runs an organization of pirates on the north side of the Island. Although Vaas is a villain in this game, he's someone that you will fall in love with once you get to hear what he says and see what he does and is an awesome guy, and one of the many unforgettable characters in Far Cry 3. Everyone has something special about their personality and actions and you will love them all. Even if you don't like some of the characters, you weren't supposed to. Jason's friends are like the dumb and arrogant teenagers that you've probably come across in your life.
    Then, there's the music which really matches and engages with whatever you are doing as Jason or whatever you are doing whilst exploring. When you're engaged in combat, the music is fast and dramatic, but when Jason is doing something in a cut scene, the music is really quiet and gentle.    … Expand

    Loved the environment, the graphics, gameplay and story. All of them very very good. Vaas is a great character man... One of the bests. Besides being easy, it's fun and immersive. Waiting for Far Cry 4!!

    WOW, JUST WOW! I am still feeling this way about this game a year later. This game literally cherry picked all the fun elements you enjoyed in all of the other leading titles out around this time and rolled it up into one fat game. This set the bar for me.

    Maybe I am biased because this game really hit home for me. I am in my early 30's, have grown up in southern California my whole    WOW, JUST WOW! I am still feeling this way about this game a year later. This game literally cherry picked all the fun elements you enjoyed in all of the other leading titles out around this time and rolled it up into one fat game. This set the bar for me.

As I played this game it was too easy to imagine this being me or what would I have done with my friends and it was overwhelmingly relateable. I became emotionaly vested in the characters and became overwhelmingly addicted to this game. At first I had to learn the format of this game and how the skills (tattoos) you receive effect your performance. This in itself can seem like a chore as if you are like me you have played games before, with different formats, and later discovered after adjusting to the format that the game sucked. Not this game!

    I was quickly versed in the basics and became a pro as I went. I got lost for hours swimming, exploring, hunting, and trying my luck at some of the mini challenges or side quests that build your arsenal and your skills. The achievments are a lot of fun on this game. Some seem absolutely impossible, until you try it and damn is it fun! This game literally has everything. From cliff diving, eating magical mushrooms, skydiving, hunting, swimming, action, sex, nudity, adventure, a sense of being a part of something greater, a story worthy of a hollywood movie, humor, fun, excitement and ultimately a huge choice to make at the end of the game.

    I loved the Apocolypse now reference and you will too. If you have no clue what I am talking about, pop in the movie and watch the first 30 minutes of it. All you need to watch is the scene when they raid the beaches of Vietnam with music bumping on their heli's. If you watch that and play this game all the way through, you will know what I mean. This game is so satisfying and so worth your time.

    I often am critical of games that have been recycled and it has come to my attention that they borrowed the set from "Dead Island" for this game or was it the other way around? Either way I have not played Dead Island, maybe I would have felt different about this game. Hard to imagine with hands down the best storyline I have ever experienced in a game, hands down.

    The online play is fun. If you are an avid COD fan they missed the bar here a bit, however compared to recent releases like Titanfall and Destiny, I'd say this online multiplayer crushes Titanfall and still holds strong against some of the co-op and versus games of Destiny.

    One last thing, if you played the other 2 games and were somewhat let down or not as entertained by Far Cry 2 as you were with Far Cry 1, that will not be the case here. Although if you got used to the Far Cry 2 format, you may be turned off by this one, or like me love it and see the brilliance in it.

    Go out and get this game. You can probably get it for a steal.

    As it stands now this is my ALL TIME FAVORITE GAME. And I have been playing video games since 1984 when I played atari and asteroids at Marie Calendars. I have owned and played almost every console released since the 80's. This even includes educational games from Socrates, was a huge fan PC Sierra Games and Lucas Arts from back in the day, still own the original NES I received in 1987, still own a 3do, have a PS2, and all xbox's.     One of the best single player campaigns ever! It really makes you feel like you are part of the story, like it's you on this island in this situation.     A 9 or a 10. That's what this game deserves! One of the best fps games out there! I hated the second one so the third... I wasnt convince... got it for 20$ at walmart and god dam*** it's worth it !! so engaging in every details... so many ways of getting job done. so many side tasks.

    This is a genuinely excellent game. It's rich in almost everything, the tropical island environment, the gunplay, the rpg elements, the detail in everything. it's a fantastic campaign that is great even when you play it over and over. However, the multiplayer is pretty bad but i'm willing to overlook that.

You have to hunt animals to get new and better gear, explore the land/radio towers for new guns and maps, and can approach fun varied missions in any style you choose.     I just got it for like 10 bucks on eBay since its so old, but wish I had gotten it earlier. This is the only first person shooter open world RPG I know of and its very good. Gameplay is a little repetitive and they could use some more weapons and equipment to use and craft, but overall I enjoyed playing this game though and through. Towards the end the side quests and collectibles become pretty useless but the main story is long and there's lots of things to do in the open world outside of the main storyline.

    The other thing that could be improved are the controls. Aiming is a little difficult and the overall FPS shooter experience is lacking making large firefights frustrating, but easy healing capabilities make up for this.

    Stealth could be improved as well, especially in the main missions where you are often forced into firefights. They do a good job giving you bonuses for taking the time to be stealthy, making stealth "worth it" for reasons other than your own enjoyment.
    Far Cry 4 is coming out for next gen, I'm expecting they will be able to address the few things that were wrong with FC3 and it should be one of the best next gen games.

    I'm not a HUGE fan of open world games but this game made me change my perspective! From skinning animals for food or just killing them to complete a quest. This game never gets boring with all of the quests and the storyline will keep you wanting more! If you like an open world with plenty of action and excitement along with a gripping storyline Far Cry 3 delivers!

    After about 10 hours of game play I thought I was just about done with the main story line but NOPE, defeating one boss unlocks the rest pf the game where the enemies are well trained and carry better guns than you currently have. I love the feeling of having to rely on what I have learned so far in the game to get me through the tougher battles as I near completion of the game.

    I never really got into the whole Skyrim thing so to say this is "Skyrim with guns" is not a fair description. I will way that it is a joy to play and you can either go in stealth and daggers or come guns blazin' like I usually do.

    Things that stopped it from being a perfect 10 is the upgrades and skill trees are weak at times with certain skills being useless. The modification on the weapons is sweet and I was using the plants like crazy crafting different buffs to stomp the baddies! Also I seemed to die often from falling off of things that were not high up. That was annoying.

    Aside from those minor complains I looooved this game! If you are reading this still stop and go right on ahead and go for it!    … Expand

    This game is visually stunning. The A.I. is very well developed, forcing you in most cases to use your brain, your surroundings and your focus. The crafting system is a little clunky and the map a bit hard to read in certain cases, nonetheless that only takes away a small amount of fun.     Far Cry 3 is a must have for anyone who likes FPS games. If you like non skippable cutscenes you'll like it even more. Personally I could do without them, especially after knowing the storyline. This is a game you'll want to play again and again. To hear the story again and again gets repetitive and unnecessary. If it wasn't for the cutscenes I'd give this game a 10.

    Far Cry 3 is a fantastic game with a brilliant villain, who is just badass. It´s a MUST have for everyone, the story has a perfect atmosphere, coop mode is much fun, but i admit that multiplayer could be better !

    Far Cry 3 is a unique experience that you won't forget in a hurry. It is an open world first-person shooter, and it's got so much content that you'll want to play for hours and hours at a time to discover all of it.

    The story is incredibly interesting, as you play as an American tourist who travels to Rook Island, and after escaping a pirate camp you must save your friends, avenge your    Far Cry 3 is a unique experience that you won't forget in a hurry. It is an open world first-person shooter, and it's got so much content that you'll want to play for hours and hours at a time to discover all of it.

    The story is incredibly interesting, as you play as an American tourist who travels to Rook Island, and after escaping a pirate camp you must save your friends, avenge your brother, and escape the island. Half the game you spend fighting Vaas, and his pirate gang. The remainder you spend fighting the less interesting Hoyt, and his soldiers. The game gets a little bit muddled in the middle as the game becomes less about stealth and more about action, but after a few missions you get used to it, and it becomes an over-the-top action-packed shooter. The missions? Meh. They are incredibly linear and can get dull, but if you obey the rules like a good little boy then you will enjoy yourself thoroughly.

    If you grow bored of the missions, you can explore the huge open world. A unique selling point which sold the game to me was the outposts, which are dotted around the map, and are filled with 5-10 varying enemies. There's the standard mercenaries, the Molotov-throwing and sometimes irritating chargers, the snipers, and the big lads who are covered in thick armour. Some outposts also have dogs, and by the end of the game, let's just say you might become more of a cat person. You can take them over however you want; with a sniper, the awesome bow, with your machete, or with an LMG. You can scout the base by tagging enemies which allows you to see them through walls, even mountains, and you can also disable the alarms to make your life easier. When you do take one over you unlock a fast travel location, and get rid of enemies in the immediate area of that base.

    There's also hunting, which allows you to kill pigs, boars, leopards and tigers, which allow you to create bigger weapon holsters, syringe kits, wallets etc. It's incredibly satisfying, and the rewards mean it's worth doing again and again. On top of all this, the game looks incredible, even on the 360. Everything from the lighting and water, to the vegetation and weapons. The graphics and aesthetics are top notch. The game options are also more than enough, with the ability to turn off parts of the HUD, and annoying notifications. There are some problems, however. The game crashed just once, and you take fall damage from a one inch drop, but not from sliding down a 30 metre cliff?

    On the whole the game is a must own. It's different from every other fps out there, and it's totally worth the money.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Vaas makes the story. It would have been eeengh without him. After Vaas is dispatched, the story loses 90% of its flair. Despite the liberal use of the "white savior" trope, the story is intriguing in the regard that the writers and the developers were able to completely recreate the feel of a blockbuster action movie. Not to say I'm a big fan of those, but being inside of one is quite an experience. lol I personally loved the quick time scenes - even though I was basically watching cut scenes, I was still interacting with them. It kept me immersed in the game. I missed them in Far Cry 4...and pretty much any other action FPS that I played afterward! This game is so far the crown gem of the series. I k now a game deserves a 10 when I run into a "Holy **** moment. In this game, it was burning the marijuana fields with a flame thrower while some Skrillex dubstep/reggae mashup played in the background. The helicopter crash in the middle of the game, and the helicopter escape at the end were pretty crazy awesome too.

    Here's hoping Far Cry Primal is able to capture the visceral, immersive experience of this entry!    … Expand

    I got this game as a Christmas present back in 2012 and I was very excited as I had never heard of or even seen this game, and I think this game is almost flawless and this game is the best I have played, The gameplay, voice, gunplay, the world, everything felt right, but the reason I don't give it a 10 is for one reason that almost made me not discover this beautiful game.

    The start of    I got this game as a Christmas present back in 2012 and I was very excited as I had never heard of or even seen this game, and I think this game is almost flawless and this game is the best I have played, The gameplay, voice, gunplay, the world, everything felt right, but the reason I don't give it a 10 is for one reason that almost made me not discover this beautiful game.

    The start of the game is intense, When you are escaping you felt like you were in that moment and it was a really good opening, But after that opening it feels really boring, The second mission till the fourth felt so lacking and I had a friend who gave up at this point as theses missions don't show how good this game gets, They felt like boring forced and not exciting and I think this is farcry 3's only let down

    I loved this game and would have well over 30 days played on it, But I wouldn't have so many I didn't get through those boring early missions, This is why I give it a 9/10    … Expand

The framerate is sometimes terrible, and that's why I only gave it a 9/10. The sound of the game seems sometimes not the best, as if it were rendered at a low quality, no clue if that's not just on console but it looses points for that too. Finally, the game at times would show bugs in the map rendering, sometimes I would try to jump on a ledge and make character would get pushed off. This is probably a problem with the movement system in the game, so not just this version. Other than these two facts, the story is very good, the ending satisfying yet over hyped... I feel like if they explained how Jason came back to the island/didn't die would've helped me convince myself to continue playing the game. The characters sell the game very well. co-op mode is very well structured and still fun up until now. Multiplayer is great yet getting smaller every day.… Expand

    Excellent graphics, amazing gameplay, a dangerous open world where everything and everyone can kill you. It's quite frankly in the FPS genre something completely apart from other games. It's really enjoyable on all fronts and the humor with some characters like Hurk just makes the whole thing even more insane !!!

While not without its own flaws, this game has stood the test of time and I write this review at the end of 2017 because there honestly has not been an open world shooter since this game that improved the formula. Sadly?

    So as I wait for Far Cry 5 to release (after a delay of a month was just announced), I feel like a little retro review is in order. Quick points to get out of the way, I have not played Far Cry, Far Cry 2, or Far Cry Primal, I have only played 3 & 4 because of interest in the setting and locale of the 2 games.

    There are two main things I have to get out of the way for this review that I cannot quickly put into a pro and con list because they stand out way too much.

    One, this game has one of the best villains I have ever seen in a video game, movie, etc. Vaas was exceptionally well done and the voice actor did an excellent job in making his personality believable and he truly was an amazing antagonist to fight with through the story. Like many other people, I believe his role in the game was too minimalistic and he definitely should have been utilized more as the other villain was not very memorable.

    Two, quick time events are an absolutely bull**** way to lazily transition a boss fight that the game has been building up to with its story. One of the main reasons I cannot give this game a 10. Dying Light did this too and it just irritates me so much. I don't want a damn cutscene finale developers!!!

    Anyways, here is the list:

    Pros:

    - Excellent & gorgeous setting/location
    - One of the best villains ever (Vaas)
    - Vast array of wildlife
    - Large open world/sandbox
    - Lots of side quests
    - Long list of available weapons
    - Good RPG elements in class building (Herron, Shark, Spider)
    - Allows you to play your own way (stealth or guns blazing)
    - Some interesting characters
    - Simple crafting system
    - Great skill trees
    - Fun over the top action
    - Signature weapons are a blast to use and unlock
    - Fast travel
    - Short load times

    Cons:

    - Fu**ing QTEs (Should have stopped this back then)
    - Awkward ending?
    - Jason, as a main character, goes from a pu**y to a jackass instantaneously?
    - Fall damage
    - First person driving
    - Enemy AI can sometimes be really dumb, or notice you in the bushes from 2 miles off

    Despite some flaws, this game is the last open world shooter I thoroughly enjoyed because it combined all the elements that make video games great. It had over the top action, it took some basic rpg elements, it had an amazing adversary in the form of Vaas, it gave you the freedom to play how you wanted, a vast number of side quests and missions to complete so that you could build up your character and spend hours sinking your teeth into the environment and explore it at your own pace, some cut scenes that weren't overly intrusive, and just gave you a giant sandbox to screw around in.

    Overall, this game gave you everything you wanted in an open world shooter, and easily stands the test of time. If this game used Vaas more than they did, and did not use QTEs in boss battles, I would have easily given this game a score of 90+. As it stands, this game, for me, is an 87.

    This is truly the last open world shooter that I would give a score above 75 and it is actually a real shame to think that. Too many games nowadays focus on over the top cinematics and graphics in the form of intrusive cut scenes that strip away control from the player and turn the game into a movie, when it should be interactive all the way through.

    Before this turns into a rant on modern games, I'll just say that I miss games like these and I hope Far Cry 5 can replicate some of the memories that this game was able to give me. Cheers!    … Expand

For the sake of balance I will mention some of the negatives, the plot essentially ends half-way through the game. The second half of the game involves a much blander setting than the first half. Certain playstyles are heavily rewarded (i.e. snipers) while using a melee style is incredibly challenging. However these are minor criticisms that did not detract from this game for me. The only major criticism I have in the game is the 'legendary animals' quests which vary in difficulty from mundanely boring to impossible. This impossibility is not necessarily about difficulty but more a criticism of the physics system of the game. One quest requires killing a shark in a specific way which involves the player being out of the water. However once he is dead the item he drops sinks... so you can't get it! But again its just one thing.

    My recommendation, if you don't own this game buy now. Ubisoft please re-release this for modern consoles!    … Expand

Commencing with jumping out of a helicopter and ending with shooting from one, Jason Brody’s arc has served as an enviable pillar of narrative for not only the Far Cry franchise but all gaming plots in general. Very few times since my first playthrough in 2012 have I encountered a game that feel so amazing as this one. Sure, other games may offer better characters, polished graphics, fine-tuned mechanics, but hardly any as much heart. Even after putting 18 hours into the game, I don’t feel done with all that it has to offer even though I’m 1 achievement away from having them all (and it’s achievement that literally asks me to just throw rocks). From Sam and Willis to Citra and Dennis to Vaas and Hoyt and everyone in between, FC3 offers incredible characters whether they’re “good” or “bad,” and the best thing about them is that it’s not always easy to tell. When Jason Brody becomes the killing machine that they’ve turned him into, he basks in the glory and bathes in the blood but soon asks if it’s the right thing to do. Is saving his handful of friends really worth the piles of bodies that he’s stacking up? This game not only asks questions like that, but offers an extreme amount of fun in the process. It’s a wholesome experience that will not only satisfy your craving for heartfelt drama and wicked shootouts, but I found myself often simply cruising around and stopping to smell (pick) the flowers. It’s an all-around terrific game that is only damaged by the time that has gone by. Glitches such as HOLD Y to (heal / put out fire) causes quite a bit of grief and takedowns that don’t always trigger when they should (sometimes would just swing at air and alert my enemies) also became troublesome but I can’t fault the game too much for that as I was playing faster than I should have to trigger certain cinematics. That being said, those qualms would in no way give me any hesitation from popping this game in again and starting from scratch. I can’t get enough of Far Cry 3 and to this day it remains one of my favorite games of all time.… Expand

    There's a whole lot to love about this game. Only complaints are a lackluster co-op and multiplayer. The graphics don't hold up too well, but in the end it's still fantastic.

    "Far Cry 3" is the highlight of the series. While the previous titles were highly-acclaimed, FC 3 marked the moment when the franchise found its footing. Every "Far Cry" released since has followed its formula. This is one of Ubi Soft's best games. It's like "Skyrim" with guns. I would rate it with a 9 out of 10.

    It is the best Far Cry so far and has one of the most iconic villain of them all, Vaas Montenegro, a **** crazy man. Frenetic game in a beautiful island with many things to do and you must be careful not only with the pirates, also with the fauna from the island. Really good game and recommended.

    Обалдеть. В игре изменили буквально всё.
    Начну с сюжета. Он интересный, закрученный, да в основном прямой, но с уймой доп. заданий. Наш герой ожил, заговорил, стал человеком за которого переживаешь. Враги и друзья обрели лица. Мне просто стало интересно слушать диалоги.
    Стрельбу переработали, пули летят туда куда ты стреляешь. Враги из однородной биомассы второй части, которых надо было искать на экране, превратились в хорошо заметных, передвигающихся противников.
    Выглядеть игра стала великолепно. Обновлённый Dunia Engine 2 выдавал очень красивую и живую картинку. Вернули джунгли. Появились животные. Я не знаю вроде текстурки с прошлого Dunia и не сильно изменились, но играть и смотреть на экран стало гораздо приятнее.
    Переработали прокачку. Если в предыдущей части это было похоже на недоразумение, в третьей прокачка стала интересной и разнообразной. Чтобы получить то или иное улучшение стало нужно выполнять квесты, охотиться на животных и заниматься прочим крафтингом. Мне очень понравилось.
    Теперь о нпс. Я считаю, что в Far Cry 3 они лучшие в серии. Брат протагониста Грант Броди бывший вояка, отдавший жизнь, чтобы спасти нас, лидер сопротивления Деннис Роджерс, ну а Ваас Монтенегро и его Сестра Цитра Талугмай, с которой у нашего героя даже будет весьма пикантная сцена от первого лица, проработаны невероятно. Жаль в четвёртой части качество нпс резко снизилось. Что касается второй я даже вспомнить не могу имя хотя бы одного нпс.
    Появились цитадели и целые крепости которые можно захватывать, как с шашкой наголо, так и по стелсу. И опять таки в сравнении со второй частью зачищенные противники не возрождаются. Что добавляет реальности игре. При этом мир игры ни как не пустует. В нём всегда что то происходит. Не заскучаешь!
    Конечно атмосфера игры была просто невероятно затягивающей. Просто не хотелось выходить из этого мира.
    Да чуть не забыл, появились вышки и их захват для разведки территории. И тогда они были очень к месту.
    Конечно остались поездки на машинах. Они мне не очень понравились, собственно как и во всех прочих играх, но можно весь мир облазить пешком. И это будет более плодотворно для героя.
    И так резюмирую. Игра великолепная. Особенно на фоне Far Cry 2, да и четвертая часть эту планку не взяла. Не так давно вышел ремастер на PS4 и XBoxOne. Выглядит хорошо, так что если кто то пропустил, милости просим.    … Expand

    This game has been the foundation for basically every game following 2012. The idea of capturing bases and completing markers on a map was built here. I definitely don't think this pattern should keep being followed by every game. Far Cry 3 changed gaming.

    Today Far Cry is an omnipresent brand for fps-shooter games. This image doesn`t come out of nowhere, it comes from Far Cry 3. This game is overwhelming. Perfect action on a wonderful open world paradise island paired with a sick and cool story and one of the best villains in video game history. Highly recommended!

Поэтому мне как жертве этого самого прогресса сохранить те же эмоции и ощущения, которые испытывал я при прохождении FAR CRY 3 лет 6-8 назад не удалось. Скажу больше, я пытался перед культовой тройкой пройти вторую часть, но увы душа поэта не выдержала и 15 минут этого уже во всех смыслах продукта прошлого века. Третью же часть я всё же прошёл в очередной раз, хотя конечно делать это после великолепной красочной New Dawn было непросто. Far Cry 3 это по сути поворотный момент для всей франшизы и крепкий фундамент для лучших в серии 4 и особенно 5 части. В тройке мы впервые получили того самого обаятельного суперзлодея, образ которого великолепно завершила буковская озвучка. Получаешь просто неимоверное удовольствие от каждого столкновения и диалога с Ваасом, это по прежнему топ-уровень и время не властно над этим однозначно. Жаль что по сюжету игры мы уже ближе к середине должны с ним расправиться. Уровень харизмы и сочности того же Хойта сильно не дотягивает и по сути игра после убийства Вааса становится менее интересной. В плане игрового процесса - классика жанра в своём первозданном сыром и несколько рутинном виде: открыть башни, отжать блок-посты, пройти скучноватые и частенько глуповатые доп-задания, поохотиться на животных дабы сладить себе, к примеру, новый кошелёк из 4 буйволов.... Основную ветку конечно тоже не забываем она действительно хороша и проходится с интересом. Far Cry 3 конечно же уступает своим последователям 4 и 5 частям, но пока из-за великолепного персонажа антагониста и хорошей сюжетной ветки способна удержать наше внимание.… Expand

    I love this game, i got all the achievements for it, but i can't stand on how this game is different on xbox 360, the PC version runs so well and is so much better that makes this one just a replacement for the "real" version that is available on PC.

    Far Cry 3 reaches for greatness, but falls short at merely being really fun. It has a few hiccups here and there and the story is very thin, but the exploration and combat really shine. It's a worthy addition to any collection.

    Almost everything about Far Cry 3 speaks to the game’s skilled, confident and tightly interwoven design, and players are free to seek their specific flavour of gratification and victory as Jason becomes the most dangerous animal on the island.

    The freeform combat, gorgeous locations, and excellent multiplayer are strong, and Far Cry 3 does a fantastic job of putting the player in the middle of a lawless, chaotic world and letting them get up to whatever they please. Yes, video games are capable of achieving much more than Far Cry 3 does, but it makes a persuasive argument that there's nothing wrong with a guilty pleasure now and again—especially when it's as slickly presented as this is.
