(this is my first review so im going to try to be fair) I have played this game almost from release, and from the beginning i would have given this game maby an 8. But once you play a game long enough you need to suck it up and realize the crap. Now not to say this is a terrible game. There are just so many things that leave you going...."what? that's stupid" That make the game a LOT worse then what it could have been. First off the big thing (for me). The moves in the game look great, they have nice looking animations there really flashy, and they feel good to use. But the problem is they are COMPLETELY unbalanced. Now thats not to say that all moves should do the same damage (a masenko shouldn't do the same as say, a special beam cannon) But nearly 40 to 50% of the moves are ether not vary good, really bad, or do the same damage as other moves. For example: did you know that at a full charge, a kamehameha and a galick gun blast do the same damage....ya....weird when the game tells you otherwise. if they do the same damage and galick gun shoots faster, what are you going to use. There are also moves that are ridiculously op. Like Emperor's Death Beam for instance. Another thing is the A.I in most missions. The A.I is so infuriating when your trying to do a hard(ish) mission and your out of stamina getting smacked around while your computer allies just sit there and look at you. On top of that the A.I sometimes after that isn't good enough to keep itself alive and pick you up at the same time, because a low level enemy beating a high level broly? Seems legit. Its also good to point out the the dlc isn't vary good. Ya there's a good amount of moves and characters to play as but the reason its not good is because it throws in a lot of USELESS characters along with a lot of moves which are much of the same. Ever heard of a move in the game called 'galick beam cannon'? Sounds pretty cool right? Guess what it does. Less damage then galick gun.....???????? what...You also get some pretty useless masters to work with, which brings me to two things. Masters, and the god damn RNG. First of the idea of masters is pretty cool and was kinda fun to complete them all and learn their moves. BUT, the worst thing is the fact that the masters only appear randomly around the time vault so you have to keep looking for the one you want and constantly waiting, and waiting, and waiting, cause only one spawns at a time from (which brings me to) RNG. A lot of times when i play or talk about this game i refer to it as "RNG simulator" because nobody can deny that's what this game is. Everything in this game is rng for missions,: clothing, moves, z souls, Its one of the most tedious things in the entire game. It took me 4 hours! to get one z soul, and it took my friend 2 WEEKS to get one move. After trying to get these things for so long and having somebody get them in one try is just painful. I heard somewhere that the way the game works is the game has "rng on top of rng" which is the most stupid and lazy thing i have heard in my life. Instead of coming up with neat little ways you could unlock moves they say "eh just leave it up to chance". Another thing the game greatly lacked is customization. There are vary few options for making your character look different from most with the exception of hair, color, and of course, race. Along with that there are vary, vary few outfits for races, that you can change the color of, that change the stats in a way that you might want. For example: If i want a Frieza Race character that has really high ki blast and health and i want him to look the way i want, then i have two options. 1, he has stats that are really messed up because the Frieza race outfits mostly gain attack power (which is weird cause in the game they are supposed to have less attack) Or 2 he is force to look like goku...Its really annoying when you make a game with custom characters with low customization. However even with that it doesn't mean that the game has nothing going for it. The game has a weird charm to it that makes it fun just to mess around with. Like i said, the moves look great and are fun to try out and use. The fighting is pretty fun sometimes, and the story isn't bad considering they have already done the same ones to death. Honesty im just hoping that if they make a squeal to this game they look at all the crap they messed up on and really fix it up. Because i think that if they took more time and tested there own game more it could have been a really nice game.… Expand
