Ok this is the best cricket game on the market right now but it launched full of bugs and some of those are still hanging around. It still isn't fully flesh out, things like rosters don't change, bowling is ridiculously easy while batting is very hard on the normal difficulty and going by the forums a lot of people resort to only playing on the leg side, batting across the stumps, preOk this is the best cricket game on the market right now but it launched full of bugs and some of those are still hanging around. It still isn't fully flesh out, things like rosters don't change, bowling is ridiculously easy while batting is very hard on the normal difficulty and going by the forums a lot of people resort to only playing on the leg side, batting across the stumps, pre empting foot placement so the system isn't great if people have to try and exploit it and it's still very basic, but it's more of a platform for them to build on. My biggest issue with that is it still cost me more than next gen versions of similar games nba2k/fifa etc for a previous gen game that wasn't finished at launch and is still a basic game. If you love cricket you'll probably like this game but if you don't like cricket don't expect much. Expand

Don Bradman Cricket 14 is one of the best cricket games to come along in a long while. A solid title, it'll keep the hardcore happy, but it might prove too complicated for the casual player.

It’s a game that not only takes practice, but also takes patience to play. While you bowl bouncers, hit sixes, and get to ask for the DRS if you've been given out - the game's biggest thrills are a tidy over of good line and length, and the crack of the ball coming out of the fat of the bat.

Big Ant should be commended for attempting to reinvent the cricket game experience and imbuing it with gameplay depth and fidelity unheard of in the genre to date, but there are just a few too many bugs and quirky design choices that hinder the overall experience.
