This 'LittleBigLego' turned out to be one of the best Christmas gifts for the whole family and a great journey across six Disney and Pixar worlds especially enjoyable in 4 player co-op mode. [December 2011, p.88]

The fun platforming, inspired level design, and bevy of character suits all make this a game worth experiencing. Although the formula is a bit derivative, Disney Universe has such a unique style that you won't notice it that much.

Disney Universe will give parents and kids alike a fun and enjoyable experience. Without the little ones, however, there's not much to be excited about.

Without its surreal mix of worlds and characters, Disney Universe would be little more than a fun, but forgettable LEGO game rip-off. However, with enough charm and personality to fill Cinderella's Castle, it's hard not to recommend it to those who make annual treks to Disneyland or catch every Pixar flick on opening day. If that doesn't describe you, but you're an adult looking for a fun interactive romp to take with your kids, Disney Universe is still a great place to visit.

The ideal family game. It's quick and simple, but has charm, character and inventive little puzzles galore.

Quite simply, kids will thoroughly enjoy Disney Universe and just like their favourite films, will happily go through it time and time again. If you've ever played a LEGO game in the past this will most likely to appeal to you, although don't expect the high amount of collectables that you are used to, but still, expect a ton of fun! Disney Universe is definitely a good group game to have over the Christmas period!

The game is solidly entertaining, especially when four competitive players get to whacking each other, racing for powerups, and tossing each other off ledges.

A good family game, entertaining even if not too challenging. Parents and children won't stay flat to Disney's characters great charm, even if in the form of funny costumes.

Creativity covers up many of the imperfections, the artwork in the backdrops is unrivaled in a kids game, and best of all, it's extremely entertaining.

You'll see pretty much all this game has to offer, literally in the first hour, but the game, unfortunately drones on for much longer. YouYou'll see pretty much all this game has to offer, literally in the first hour, but the game, unfortunately drones on for much longer. You can roam Disney with cute characters. It is pretty evident that Disney Interactive focused this towards children, but they tried to make a good game, hey who can blame 'em? It's a pretty often used business model, make cute characters, toss in the word "Disney" and every kid that sees it will beg their parents for it. If your child asks you for this game, don't give in. Instead (depending on their age), get them a new Sesame Street game for Kinect, it is geared towards little kids and is entertaining, and is actually a good quality game. Like I said before, the game gets boring after the first hour, and if you manage to see the credits, you don't feel like you accomplished something. Co-op does little to ease the pain. You can expect the same kind of co-op action as in Super Mario Bros. Wii (except you won't fall into pits), but the game still remains boring and offers little more than if you were playing solo.
