Sep 14, 2011The game as a whole is a charming package suitable for all ages. With its user friendly interface, addictive gameplay, generous number of levels and multiple modes, Crazy Machines Elements is worth the download.

Oct 20, 2011While the genre itself hasn't evolved much in the past twenty years, there is still an undeniable satisfaction that one derives from building and watching Goldberg machines run. For only ten dollars, puzzle fans and creative types can find a lot to enjoy here.
-
Sep 6, 2011Crazy Machines Elements succeeds in being a good title but not necessarily a great sequel. The core concept is still good, and the additional tools help the game feel fresh.
-
Sep 1, 2011It's not that Crazy Machines Elements is a bad game. There is absolutely enjoyment to be had, especially for fans of physics-based puzzlers. Unfortunately, this iteration of the series doesn't make a great showing, largely due to its control problems and finicky nature.
-
Sep 29, 2011Crazy Machines Elements is a solid puzzle game that lets you relive the glory days of playing Mouse Trap or perhaps discover for it the first time.
-
Sep 20, 2011A game with mixed results. It is a very original idea that we've seen few times in console, with almost infinite possibilities, but the adaptation lacks something. As a puzzle game it is difficult and has enough variety, but the absence of clues or help makes it frustrating sometimes.
-
Sep 2, 2011Crazy Machines Elements doesn't have enough going for it to be worth your $10. There's some fun to be had designing levels and figuring out the more open-ended puzzles, but when a game's primary mode isn't fun, I can't really recommend it.

Official Xbox MagazineOct 18, 2011Crazy Machines Elements might turn your crank for a day or two, but only if your enthusiasm for Rube Goldberg-style mechanical oddities knows no bounds. [Dec 2011, p.71]
-
Sep 22, 2011It's a puzzle game that doesn't involve pointing and clicking or falling shapes, which is good to see, but it leaves much to be desired with its blunt limitations, uninspired presentation, and painfully slow pacing.
