Dec 13, 2011I had originally given this game a 9, but after constant glitches and bugs, and patches that screw something else up, I'm now giving it a 2. Terrible.

Nov 20, 2011The game is simply amazing I feel they tie up the story nicely all the while introducing new characters along with the ones from the previous installments. Multi-player is terrific they really got back to the basics of what made the game fun. overall a 10/10 in my books

Nov 20, 2011It sucks, nuf said. Its just a copy of every other shooter out there. I can't believe Activision is making billions of dollars of of this, it just isn't fair to good games.

Nov 20, 2011Ill keep it simple, Same old same old. I actually am going back to playing the old MW games cause the levels are better, I mean really? It seems like they just threw a bunch of old map designs they had lying around......ugh no comment Giving it a 0 for 0 effort to make something new!

Nov 21, 2011It's the best FPS you can get right now on consoles. Stellar package, fantastic multiplayer, and it's better than that laggy 30fps BF3. Seriously BF3 is garbage on consoles.

Nov 21, 2011This is not a new game, its almost identical to MW2, just different maps, and couple extra weapons and killstreaks! They didnt fix any of the issues that MW2 had! No kick vote, player/lobby matching is so bad still, spawns are ridiculous! and full of bugs

Nov 21, 2011Game is no different from modern warfare 2, seriously this is an expansion pack DLC. Very stupid of activision to use some of the same buildings, items etc. As mw2.
I gave up on cod after the fourth one, was always a Halo and BF fan anyways. -

Nov 22, 2011Disappointing in many ways. It was hard to get through the game as it felt as if it were the same game over. It's more of a MW2.1 Even if you enjoyed the previous games, it's more of a burned out feeling at this point as it does nothing to improve on older games.

Nov 22, 2011Congrats on screwing over fans.
These games have just been CODMW1 rehashes ever since.
Still using the same 1999 Quake 3 engine with just modifications.
Time to move on. Remake the game, get a real engine.
They all play the same, look the same. Everything about every COD now are the same. Sadly the only good ones were COD:2 MW1. -

Jan 11, 2012Ultimately, Modern Warfare 3 feels similar to it's brethren, but that doesn't mean it isn't a great game. The single player element is still exciting, and multiplayer has more options than ever – if you're a fan of Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 3 is a no brainer.

Dec 28, 2011Modern Warfare 3, while still an excellent thrill ride in its own right, feels far too similar to MW2 or even Black Ops for my taste.

Dec 12, 2011I never expected Modern Warfare 3 to go toe-to-toe with EA's juggernaut this year, but it came out of the gates with a tour de force campaign and co-op mode. It loses points with a perhaps too-familiar multiplayer that caters to the juvenile on Xbox Live; though don't be mistaken, Modern Warfare 3 is one hell of a shooter and a highlight for a series that just won't die – no matter how much we wish it bloody would, at times.
