  1. A really huge expansion to Borderlands that feels a little bit like a missed opportunity. But all the tedious transportation and rather dull enemies can't hide the fact that there really is a lot to do here, and that the new vehicles are good fun. In the end, General Knoxx is recommended for all of you who have missed the adventures on Pandora.
  2. It is funny, but the fact that it is so big makes large portions of the game seem like a boring chore.

This was less of a big deal in the zombie dlc because the map was smaller. But here, you not not quite à bigger map but with a hell lot of highways, and still those missions which require to go back and forth .. Nice story, but the absence of fast travel quite lowered the quality of the experience for me here. Full Review »

It adds a ton of new content in the forms of quests, a new story, new enemies, new vehicles and of course new weapons. Everything still has the same wit and charm as the base game. The level cap has been raised, making it worthwhile for anyone already at max level. The only minuses are that there are numerous glitches (my favorite being the time my character drove off without the car), and the severe amount of time wasted going to quests or backtracking. Still, this expansion is the best and completely worth the asking price. Full Review »
