I have been playing "Mount and Blade" on my good ol' Mac for about one month and having great fun so neglectful is the best word I have for my XBOX360 playing time. I didn't even remember this game was coming out this month because I'm old and have real life to recon with, but being an OG (original gamer) I have to make the trip into Game-Stop at least once every couple of months, so II have been playing "Mount and Blade" on my good ol' Mac for about one month and having great fun so neglectful is the best word I have for my XBOX360 playing time. I went ahead and prepaid for the Deluxe Edition and awaited its arrival.
Here is my 38 years of gaming exp opinion:
GRAPHICS-I think it looks pretty darn good. I am playing on a 50" plasma with HDMI so you can see the blemishes on faces and that's pretty cool. The level of detail is as good as ever for a 10 year old machine.
GAME PLAY-Now this is NOT a Battlefield clone when playing single player. It has the same mechanics of it is predecessor, but the episodic nature and its tone are a whole new game entirely.
SINGLE PLAYER-This is the most fun I have had playing a BF campaign since ever.
MULTI - " "-It shines really good, I have never been disappointed, but hardcore fan boys of BF4 are gonna be pissed off(see below reviews).
I applaud EA for being fresh and breaking out of the "rinse and repeat" feel of the war game genre! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE BF...since the beginning I have championed the series but change is good for everyone. and anyone that complains of drops, stutters in the frame rate either have a crappy ISP or trying to use a Sat/Router connection.
Complaining about the graphics? Well you have to remember that when I first started on consoles like the 2600, a black box with a short line coming out of one side constituted a Tank. I believe only juvenile players would take issue with the graphics.
BOTTOM LINE- If you want to have the look, play and feel of BF4 then this game is not for you. This does not feel like a DLC for BF4 at all! I would take anyone who claims this as an idiot Call of Duty fan boy. This game is enjoyable, challenging, and can be just as addictive as BFs before it. Yes, there are a lot of changes, it plays like a TV show and now its Cops and Robbers but it still fun as ever. So if your a War Game BF4 lover, or a teenybopper be safe and rent it first so your not like the goofs who whine about spending $60 bucks on this "terrible game". If you love the BF series and are not afraid of change I think you will find this game will be a pleasant surprise.

Although I was played a lot of Battlefield 4, it had... issues.

Hardline seems to have fixed most of those problems in multiplayer.

I've been having fun with single player too.

I don't really understand how anybody could give it a zero - they can't really have played it.

Forget everything that the **** ranting dishonest close-minded and childish idiots of the Battlefield community have said about Battlefield Hardline, because it is actually a damn good game! It is completely different from Battlefield 4, mainly because its infantry combat mechanics are flawlessly fleshed out, with strategically placed buttons that open or close gates/garages, bombs that blow up walls, and plenty of doors that can be opened or closed at any time, or even bashed down with a sledge hammer. The game is as always extremely thematic! And while it admittedly does have far less weapons than in Battlefield 4, the thing most people don't understand is that 1000 guns for every class is unnecessary and extremely hard to balance. Also, the game even manages to add 5 total new and innovative game modes that have never been seen in any other Battlefield game. This game is truly worth your $60. Now go and buy it. Expand

Me being a COD player, i picked this up at gamestop because it would be my first Battlefield game and i was very nervous to play it cause i didn't know what to expect and let me just say that this was amazing. The story was incredible i really enjoyed watching everything unfold and i'll play it again and again. The wide selection of guns and attachments allowed me to have a different gun each chapter which i thought was pretty cool. All the collectibles such as the evidence and the warrants are fun to go hunt down mid-mission which add a bit more fun to the game. But what knocks this down to 8 instead of 10 is that the multiplayer is not that good in my opinion. The multiplayer maps are extremely huge with barely any sightlines or really close quarters where you have to have the reaction time of a god. One part about multiplayer i do like is the takedown animation when you walk up behind somebody. But other than multiplayer, this game is stellar and i would recommend it even if others wouldn't.
