    Refined mechanics and a gripping story led this series from an uncertain beginning to the massive franchise it has become today. The characters are inspired and the tie-ins to famous historical figures are something I was happily surprised to see.

    This game is my childhood. I remember when I entered it for the first time and started playing this excellent game. Many years after the first passage of this game, I remembered these beautiful moments. These soundtracks are made by great musicians. This visual style is conceived by an amazing artist.     Fue un gran juego en su tiempo, por qué ha envejecido mal. Aún así este juego es uno de los mejores de la saga de Assassin's creed, cuenta con una historia larga y profunda, mecánicas de batalla diversas, personajes con los que empatizamos etc.. Aunque la economía de este juego no este bien balanceada y los NPC les falte un poco más de inteligencia, no quita el hecho de que esté es un granFue un gran juego en su tiempo, por qué ha envejecido mal.     Overall excellent game. Stealth gameplay is the star. A simple but diverse stealth toolkit combined with intricately designed levels and a beautiful, unique setting leads to one of the best and most expansive stealth games ever made. You can see why it set the formula for years to come.

    Niesamowita przygoda, która zapoczątkowała moje zamiłowanie serią o Asasynie. Piękny krajobraz Florencji oraz urokliwi mieszkańcy sprawiają, że nie chce się oderwać od tego świata.

    This game is really good. A far cry better than the first game. In-fact I want to give it a 9 or a 10 but a few things keep me from that. But let's start with positives.

    - Ezio is an amazing character and this game gives him such a good backstory. - the historical story line is really fun and interesting - Venice as a setting and open world is to die for. - the movement is far better    This game is really good.     - the historical story line is really fun and interesting
    - Venice as a setting and open world is to die for.

    - the movement is far better here than in the first game.

    - the remaster has really good graphics.

    - the combat is greatly improved.

    - really great mission design and set pieces in this game.

    Here are the negatives that kept me from scoring it higher.

    - the movement though better still can be janky and have mission ruining consequences. Really frustrating in key moments.

    - the enemy AI will go from really dumb to game breakingly hard.

    - the modern narrative just is not interesting to me.

    - the remastered version adds in sequence 12-13 which were originally cut content, but were added in as DLC later, and are included as part of the base game in the collected remastered version of the game. These two sequences break the pacing of the narrative, are a slog, are confusing, and feel irrelevant. The missions in it are long and frustrating (a nine person assassination mission across an entire map, I kid you not). These additional sequences put the game's momentum to a halt. Ubisoft, next time just leave cut content cut.    … Expand

    "Assassin's Creed II" is a huge improvement over its predecessor. Featuring a great story, likeable protagonist and good mission variety, it represents a course correction. This is what the first AC should've been all along. The open-world is amazing and the gameplay is fantastic. I would easily compare it to "Grand Theft Auto III". Players that become bored with the first installment will"Assassin's Creed II" is a huge improvement over its predecessor. Featuring a great story, likeable protagonist and good mission variety, it represents a course correction. This is what the first AC should've been all along. The open-world is amazing and the gameplay is fantastic. I would easily compare it to "Grand Theft Auto III". Players that become bored with the first installment will love this one.     This is the best Assassin's creed so far , might always be. I still remember playing it years ago, and did it again via the Ezio Collection. This game is a masterpiece, if you didnt played yet, you should. This is a classic.

    Sem dúvidas um dos melhores da saga,porém o combate e muito desbalanceado,você ataca um inimigo e ele se defende sempre,você aperta pra contra atacar e mesmo assim recebe dano,você tenta desarmar o inimigo mas ele tbm se defende,mas em compensação,a história do jogo é muito boa e tem as melhores missões de assasinato alvos e templários,só queria que não fosse muito linear,mas enfim,o gameSem dúvidas um dos melhores da saga,porém o combate e muito desbalanceado,você ataca um inimigo e ele se defende sempre,você aperta pra contra atacar e mesmo assim recebe dano,você tenta desarmar o inimigo mas ele tbm se defende,mas em compensação,a história do jogo é muito boa e tem as melhores missões de assasinato alvos e templários,só queria que não fosse muito linear,mas enfim,o game é bom sim,até platinei ele,compensa demais.… Expand

    완벽하게 계승받고 발전시키면 나오는 결과물. 유비소프트가 단순히 '답습'이 아닌 '계승'을 해야되는 이유. 매번 사족같은 현대파트도 그나마 2편에서는 괜찮았다.

    The first Assassin's Creed's charm was in the sumptuous graphics and straightforward action - that incredible climbing and free-running, and the visceral thrill of stapling evil people to the dirt with a wristblade. With AC2 the rest of the game has caught up with the brilliance of those central ideas to create a complete and coherent experience. We can think of plenty of words that could describe Assassin's Creed 2 - involving, exciting, cinematic - but there's only one word that sums it up beautifully. Killer. [Dec 2009, p.74]

    Assassin's Creed 2 is miles away form the first chapter. It's a whole new game, different in many aspects. The main quest is involving and nice to play, and the number of side mission and extra activities is impressive (and all of them are fun to play). The setting is peculiar and unique, and the panoramic views are sharp and, somehow, magic.

Solving most of the problems of its predecessor, this accomplished sequel offers compelling action, beautiful environments and a great plethora of well written characters. A must have for every action-adventure fan with a taste for history, and one of the best games of this fall.
