Adrenalin Misfits

If you're after increasing your collection of Kinect launch games, then Crossboard 7 is certainly worth a look at, especially for friends and family to tackle the multiplayer which is where the game is certainly at its most enjoyable.

Adrenalin Misfits is certainly a much better offering than Sonic Free Riders when it comes to board-style racing.

At the end of the day, Adrenalin Misfits is a Kinect game that fits well into the early games released for Microsoft's entry into the world of motion control.

Adrenaline Misfits is a good idea and even a good game to some degree, but it suffers from too much style and too little substance.

Crossboard 7 quite obviously aims for a younger audience, from its visuals to its low difficulty, and children will have a good time moving and jumping while playing the game. However, if you are looking for more depth, hardly you will find it.

Bad implemented control, but nice tracks and cool characters. Unfortunately, the game is more exhausting than entertaining.

Crossboard 7 is a fair game as a Kinect launch title, but most will probably forget about it quite quickly. The overall design is clearly targeted at younger gamers, which makes it much less appealing for older ones, but its movement recognition and simple challenges make it a nice (and physical) entertainment to occupy rainy Wednesdays.

I wouldn't call Adrenalin Misfits a must own, but I would strongly recommend a rental for any Kinect owners looking for a decent board racing experience, especially if you have some young gamers in your household.

Adrenalin Misfits is basically what you would assume for a launch title of a new system. It means well, but falls short of being that fun killer app that you hoped for.

One of the first Kinect boarding games lacks of depth in all the game modes that features, becoming in a moment to a forgettable experience.

Adrenalin Misfits is the type of game that you want to love. The goofy characters and breadth of unlockables make the game seem worth the effort, if it weren't so maliciously boring.

Most of the characters, courses, and board types are also locked away from the outset, so getting to any of the worthwhile content is a test of your patience and endurance. The presentation, meanwhile, is average at best. Ultimately, you'll find little value in Adrenalin Misfits. Seek your Kinect thrills elsewhere.

With Crossboard 7, Konami brings to Kinect a pleasant riding game, but without any influence.

The raw ingredients for a fun, fast-paced, high-adrenaline racer that the Kinect sorely needs are all in place. But sadly CrossBoard 7 is ultimately let down by a lack of fine-tuning in the motion-control and gameplay department.

Adrenalin Misfits isn't broken, it's not hard, it's not hideous. It's just kind of boring and uninspired.

Flaky motion controls and an irritating cast of characters suck most of the fun out of this lackluster boarding game.
