    Mario Galaxy is a masterpiece of a game, everything about it is amazing. The movement, the music, the level design it all oozes pure magic. It is one of if not the best Mario games made. The only single complaint I can have is the motion controls. If you have not played this game then you are doing something wrong it is pure joy.

    Realmente se me hace difícil pensar en un videojuego de plataformas superior a este, quien decida jugarlo entenderá el por que y sin ninguna duda quedará enamorado del titulo.

    Yes this is a must play game. Metacritic are not exaggerating in the slightest. The mechanics and level design are great and Rosalina's backstory is probably the most fleshed out in Mario history. Yeah, this is probably one of my favourite game of all time.

    The best game of the console. Graphics are really good. The plot is really catchy. The game play is acceptable. If you have a Nintendo Wii you REALLY need to play this game.

    Este juego es perfectardo, la sensacion que te da la musica estando en el espacio con mario, el diseño de niveles, como aprovecha el gameplay... Uno de los únicos plataformas que considero perfectos.

    This game has, in my opinion, easily earned the title of best Mario game. It manages to do everything at once and do them all spectacularly. The levels are well-designed and most are incredibly memorable. These levels are accompanied by a Mario that, save for the underwater controls, controls very well, and an absolutely phenomenal soundtrack, which is one of the best ever composed. WhileThis game has, in my opinion, easily earned the title of best Mario game. It manages to do everything at once and do them all spectacularly. The levels are well-designed and most are incredibly memorable. These levels are accompanied by a Mario that, save for the underwater controls, controls very well, and an absolutely phenomenal soundtrack, which is one of the best ever composed. While there are a lot of bosses in this game, because of the sound design, character design and the mechanics of the boss fights, you feel a sense of accomplishment after every boss. I could go on for hours, but you get the idea. It’s a shame that the recently released Mario 3d All Stars, which included this game, is no longer available. Every Mario fan, regardless of whether they own a Wii or not, should be able to enjoy this masterpiece… Expand

    I remember being a kid and playing as the little star character at my friends house for this game. Even playing as a "second player" the game was super fun. It has great level design, awesome music, and really fun gameplay. One of the best Mario games you can find out there.

    All I really need to say is that the soundtrack DEFINITELY overdid itself; in a good way. Even thought I didn’t play this game growing up, I did play Galaxy 2 which does reuse or remix the old songs. My favorites are Buoy Base Galaxy and Purple Coins, if you haven’t you should really give them a listen. The soundtrack also makes up for the few flaws with its gameplay, and sometimes it canAll I really need to say is that the soundtrack DEFINITELY overdid itself; in a good way. Overall, if Metacritic had a top soundtrack list, I feel Mario galaxy 1 AND 2 would both be at least top 5, but personally I’d say they both take the number 1 spot.… Expand

    Awesome! Played this on my Wii, when I was about 4-6 years old. Now I've got it again and beat it. Nice story, graphic, gameplay and atmosphere.

    A perfect game, I think everything is excellent in this game, the graphics are amazing, the gameplay is great, the story is spectacular, and the soundtrack is the best that nintendo has ever done, this game is very worthwhile.

    This is my favorite mario game and one of the best games I’ve ever played. It’s got an amazing gameplay and soundtrack, it is fun form start to finish. It’s the best game on WII and a must play.

    A Mario game that's actually good. The game wasn't too hard but it makes Odyssey look like a cakewalk. I loved the planets.

    An adventure in space sounds fantastic for Mario, and it is shown in Super Mario Galaxy that it will be remembered as the best adventure of the plumber.

    It still stands up to this day in my opinion. The game is phenomenal. This game is enjoyable for anyone of any age and still stands up today against modern Mario titles like Super Mario Odyssey. And a lot of new people have played the game recently from the release of Super Mario 3D All Stars last year making the game accessible on modern hardware being the Switch.

    Super Mario Galaxy feels like the true successor to Super Mario 64 for me. This game was such an amazing experience, and I feel like it's a must-play for fans of the series.

    Super Mario Galaxy is literally the definition of perfection. Both Galaxy and Galaxy 2 are the cream of the crop in terms of the greatest games ever made. It's the perfect blend of action, adventure, tear-dropping moments and gorgeousness. Even for a Wii game in 2007, this game still looks better than a lot of games today. Not a single moment in the game felt unfair. The difficulty is fairSuper Mario Galaxy is literally the definition of perfection.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Best game I've ever played. Period. The story is your typical Mario "oh no! the princess was captured by evil turtle man, now italian plumber must save her (but it's in space this time)" story, but everything else is just glorious. The gameplay, the music (Jesus the music is so good, not a single track is bad imo) and the levels, design concepts and enemies are incredibly creative. Also, once you've collected all 120 power stars, you get to play as Luigi! However, once you get 120 power stars, you get to play as Luigi, and you have to play the whole game over again, with no differences except for Luigi's higher jump and less stable movement (the no new missions thing was fixed in the sequel). But the game was so good I didn't really mind. There are Prankster Comets that come by and change the gameplay of a level, for example, if a Prankster Comet lands on a level, you could have to collect a bunch of purple coins in that level, or have a race with a clone of yourself (I loved these). The ending is heartwarming, and a little sad, too. Just the best game ever, If God had a favorite game, it might be Super Mario Galaxy, It's that good, man, just play it. 10/10, such a damn good game.… Expand

    For me this is the perfect 3d mario game. The idea of planets as maps is executed perfectly in this game. Not a single galaxy ever felt boring to play through. I dont really have to go in debth regarding how good it is.

    Super mario galaxy has been and always will be my favorite game of all times, it's the deepest mario game so far and it is so fun, this is a must play game.
