    Fun little game. Not every game needs to be multi player. Not every game needs to be complex. Conquest has just enough strategy, options, and action to serve as an excellent distraction for a while. Some may say it is an abuse to the license. I disagree. I don't care if the game isn't following the exact rules of the series. I like that I can be the Federation and obliterate Fun little game. Not every game needs to be multi player. I do not expect it to be much more than a periodic distraction from life. It completely satisfies its ridiculously low price. I paid $15. A bargain at twice the price. Don't look too deep unless you are searching for reasons to hate the game.… Expand

    I love this game, and it's sucked more of my time than I could have originally imagined, and thus deserves the highest score. It's a simple strategy game and doesn't try to be anything else. Yes, the Star Trek "galactic-domination" setting is pretty shallow and anti-canon, it's no more shallow and unrealistic than the "world-domination" setting for the board-game Risk, I love this game, and it's sucked more of my time than I could have originally imagined, and thus deserves the highest score. It's a simple strategy game and doesn't try to be anything else. Yes, the Star Trek "galactic-domination" setting is pretty shallow and anti-canon, it's no more shallow and unrealistic than the "world-domination" setting for the board-game Risk, and we all love that game, right? It's not the most complex or beautiful game, but it's *exactly* what it claims to be, and we can't ask more of a game than that.… Expand

    Love the game and addicted to it. Definitely for Star Trek and Risk fans. I just wish it were more complex, came with more arenas/settings, and had several multi-player options.

    If your looking for a simple Wii strategy game like that of Risk, Conquest fits the bill rather nicely. It's drawbacks are: 1) It's a bit shallow, if your looking for something like star craft or Civ, this is too lite for that level of challenge. 2) If your expecting something Star Trek "canon", this game ain't exactly holding very true in that area. You'll find of If your looking for a simple Wii strategy game like that of Risk, Conquest fits the bill rather nicely. It's drawbacks are: 1) It's a bit shallow, if your looking for something like star craft or Civ, this is too lite for that level of challenge. 2) If your expecting something Star Trek "canon", this game ain't exactly holding very true in that area. You'll find of things to nitpick about if you buy it expecting that. But, if you go into it thinking more along the lines of a themed Risk or Monopoly game, than you'll be fine with it. 3) I have concerns about the overall re-playability of Conquest, because I can see players quickly getting bored with it after they've went through the different race scenarios a couple times. But if you don't mind that kinda thing, than that's not a prob.… Expand

    This game is a complete waste of money, don't buy it if you see it.

    Star Trek Conquest is an interesting game to say the least. The core game design is fun, but the amount of options, polish, and multiplayer (or entire lack thereof) brings the experience down more than a few notches.
