Pleasant music and beautiful levels help to round out this cute offering, and while I do feel the control issues could cause some frustration for players, the determined ones will work around it and keep on pushing forward.
-
It retains some of its predecessor's faults, but Marble Saga is still a leap forward for the Kororinpa series.
-
It’s a good-looking game that can be fun or frustrating, but it may just keep you coming back for more.
-
Games Master UKOne for Balance Board owners only, because if you're going to be using the Wii remote, Kororinpa is the better game. [May 2009, p.84]
-
I peeled the paint with the horrible, horrible things I said to this game while watching my marble fly off into space because of the weird control issues. It's a shame when a game with so much charm gets undercut by technical tomfoolery.
-
games(TM)Without the control confusion, this could have been a modern classic to rival Super Monkey Ball; instead it can only be recommended for people with a serious amount of patience. [May 2009, p.128]
-
Like any good sequel, Marble Saga manages to build upon the unique game play ideas of the original, not to mention addresses the serious lack of levels the first game was plagued with. But for every step forward the game takes, it takes two steps backward with its sluggish physics implementation.
