Despite its many faults, LEGO Batman can be a fun experience albeit a repetitive and frustrating one. As a big fan of Batman, I heartily recommend it to any fan of the Caped Crusader. However, non-fans will want to avoid it entirely since enjoyment is derived almost entirely from its nostalgia factor.

Nintendo PowerAfter the releases of LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Indiana Jones, you should know what to expect from LEGO Batman: The Videogame--it's like those games, only with Batman. [Dec 2008, p.98]
-
Perhaps it is time that Traveler’s Tales mellows down a bit and tries to make the next Lego game a bit more polished then this travesty.
-
Ultimately you cannot blame Traveller’s Tales too much for playing it safe with LEGO Batman and following their successful blueprint for retail success once again.

Probably the most unique LEGO game. But, besides that, it's still a great game.
