Oct 26, 2010Less arcade than its predecessors, FIFA 11 finds on Wii a good balance between casual feeling and simulation.
-
The over-the-top action seems to have been relegated to the "supplementary" 5-on-5 modes, taking the focus away from the main game as it shrivels from malnutrition.
-
Jan 8, 2011This is a decent football game, but it's only a distant relative of FIFA 11 for Xbox360 and PS3, and it's far worse than PES on Wii. Try it only if you are a fan of five-a-side football.
-
Overall FIFA 11 feels like a step in the wrong direction for the series on Wii. The new control mechanics practically force real soccer players to use the Classic Controller in order to separate the pass button from the crossing ability and Hit the Streets doesn't pan out the way EA hoped.

Games Master UKDec 25, 2010FIFA 2002 and FIFA Street 1 - together at last! EA can stick this one in their own net. [Issue#231, p.87]
-
Oct 29, 2010But it could have been so much better if this game was FIFA: Hit the Streets - licensed teams and names with all the effort put into a killer arcade mode. The half-and-half version is a bit of a nil-all-draw on a cold and rainy Sunday afternoon.
