  1. In the end, Destroy All Humans: Big Willy Unleashed is a fun idea with poor implementation and some of the un-funniest moments ever captured in a videogame.
  2. It's inherited all the original game's problems—a major feat, since it's developed by a whole new company—and lost some of its charm in the process.
  3. Avoid Destroy All Humans: Big Willy Unleashed at pretty much all costs.

Mission design feels particularly lazy this time round, Locomotive seemingly jotting down amusing cutscene scenarios before finding tenuous ways of tying ‘destroy this’ or ‘abduct that’ tasks to the constant stream of ooh-er references to ‘big willies’ and ‘meat’ in the dialogue. [May 2008, p.97]

The biggest problem with Destroy All Humans!: Big Willy Unleashed isn't the terrible camera, the lacklustre graphics or the uninspiring mission structure; it is purely the way that this isn't a proper Destroy All Humans! game. Yes, you do destroy some humans, but the most fun aspect of the first two games has not been used enough here.

Big Willy Unleashed isn't a bad game; it just feels extremely watered-down. Perhaps it's because all the real effort is being put into Crypto's upcoming PS3 debut, but this feels like a pale imitation of the other DAH titles.

Seriously, this is a game that came out of the oven half baked.

Awful, just awful. It's a dirty, cheap, slapped-together cash-in title that's not woth the round plastic disc it comes on. [Apr 2008, p.92]
  9. This might not be a highlight to bow out on, but it might be time for series to be put out to pasture, at least for a bit. Revamp the combat system, spruce up the looks, and come back with a script that entertains without going for the cheap jokes, and maybe you'll have something worth playing.
  10. Big Willy Unleashed is toss. The controls make playing the game feel like trying to do the washing-up with a pair of chopsticks, using clogs instead of rubber gloves. It looks revolting. The script is appalling.
  11. The gameplay in Destroy All Humans is getting stale, and Big Willy Unleashed beats the dead horse with a death ray.

This game is fun as heck, but the wii controls are garbage. While the spoofs were humorous, the missions were variable and fun to play., this game is brought down to a 7 by the wii's motion controls.
Tbe invincible mech was just endless destruction (I had no slowdown in fps by the way). Though the graphics were ps2 bad, this did not hurt the game for me.

I grew up withI love the DAH games; this game was the reason why I bought the game but this game is true and uter **** in every way possible. I grew up with DAH 1 and 2 always loved playing them, I still do, they we great sand box games, this was not. the controls were awful, aiming was ridiculously difficult and I never got used to it. to tern, you had to move the cursor to ether side of the screen, this sounds fine but try doing it wast shooting moving and being shot at. weapons weren't satisfying at all; before (and after) the DAH games has fun and imaginative weapons that were practical to use and upgrade, in this, you use the disintegrator ray and nothing else (unless you have no other choice). levels were badly designed and riddled with glitches that at times could stop the game from working (getting stuck in walls, missions not appearing and other smaller ones). the vehicles (saucer and big willy robot) were badly implemented and weren't fun to use. there is no reason to play this game, its **** in every way.
