    this is an absolute rubbish console port for the wii. unfair multiplayer with no ranked dedis, bad graphics, no special wii abilities... infinity ward reprinted mw2 with a 3 on the end and activision is digging people's pockets for money. at least the singleplayer's not bad. campaign is crazy as always and spec ops is fun with friends

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This version of the game is very underrated and some of the reviews I have seen from other people are downright stupid. This game has all 3 modes even on the underpowered wii console. All modes work great, even if the multiplayer is rough. The campaign is amazing but the worse graphics affect some of the cutscences. Like when soap dies its hard to be emotional when he looks like a potato. The multiplayer is still up and running and I can get a game in 2020, even if the lobby is hacked. The controls feel great on a classic controller the motion controls arent even that bad. 8.5/10… Expand

    bought this game at gamestop for cheap used and it was just as I expected mw3 on the wii I really have nothing to say about the game all I have to say is that its a good game and I would recommend it to anyone

    Call of duty modern warfare 3 on the wii is a soild port but with some slow downs but atill a soild game worth playing in 2020

    Es un buen juego, a pesar de que su calidad grafica no se compara a la de sus demas versiones sigue siendo un titulo estupendo, cumple con controles comodos que al principio pareceran extraños pero cuando te acostumbras llega a ser muy acojedor para esta nueva experiencia. Ademas , es facil introducirse en la campaña captando la historia de una buena manera aunque no muy fluida del todo,Es un buen juego, a pesar de que su calidad grafica no se compara a la de sus demas versiones sigue siendo un titulo estupendo, cumple con controles comodos que al principio pareceran extraños pero cuando te acostumbras llega a ser muy acojedor para esta nueva experiencia.     The third part of the sub saga closes with a bad taste. Most of the climax moments in the campaign are just a copy of the past two games, and the story continues to be sinful without any originality. Despite that, I feel guilty because I ended up entertaining myself and sometimes more than the first Modern Warfare. Actually it's a "basic" title if I am objective.     Wii tried hard to make the Master piece of a game work like it does on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 but it failed ALOT. this game looks like SH*T, COD WAW had better graphics than this turd. The online is just awful due to the sh*tty graphics and the horrible control of the Wii remote (P.S. the motion control on this console does NOT F*CKING WORK).     Improvements in the multiplayer mode, with the addition of many extra.

    I'm sick of the Wii. Motion Controls are not the future of gaming. Why put a really good game on a bad console with horrible controls? The Wii Remote makes it hard to play.

    The main reason why is game is bad is because you can tell that the developers did not care about the game they were making. The Wii did not get MW2 so most Wii players couldn't fully understand the campaign. The multiplayer also had lag shooting then kill streaks didn't work then hackers took over. Overall all its an awful game.

    More of the same, nothing but FPS garbage. This genre has single handedly destroyed gaming and turned the entire industry into one that favors "safe" shallow gameplay with good graphics instead of games that are actually enjoyable.

    I'd like to point out that nearly all of the negative user reviews are PS3/360 players that have never played it on Wii. They say that it's "identical to MW2", even though Wii didn't even get Modern Warfare 2. But anyway, about the game. This is a great game with the best online multiplayer on Wii. The graphics are a lot better than Black Ops Wii and there is barely any lag. While the online infrastructure is basically the same as Black Ops, it works better than any other Wii game.
    I have a few problems with it though. It doesn't have split-screen multiplayer and voice chat doesn't always work well. Sometimes the game lags, but I find that there is less lag now, a few months after release. Another slight problem is that the Wii version doesn't have the Spec Ops missions and some of the kill streaks. I know that the Wii isn't powerful enough to run some of the kill streaks, but hackers have found that Predator Missiles are actually hidden in the games code.

    Overall, this is a great game for all FPS fans and definitely worth a buy!    … Expand

    CoD still has a problem: Each game is too similar. There are simply not enough improvements to call this a new game and it suffers because of it. The series needs a reboot with a more unique and original idea instead of the same thing over and over.

Having bought this on Wii makes me want to throttle the prick at gameslop for not warning me about how crappy this game is. Do not buy this, don't. It isn't what you want it to be.     MW3 for the Wii is actually a great game to play and have fun at the same time... Campaign is awesome Spec Ops is OK and Mutiplayer is one of the best Which should last you a long period of time. If i were you i will get the game.

    The game is awesome. There's nothing wrong with the game. Just a little bad graphic, that's all. I don't know why you guys are arguing. My dad wouldn't let me buy a xbox360 because he said they're so expensive. I'm really cool with having Modern Warfare 3 for Wii.

    Tired game , Tired engine, Same crap gets put out every single year for four years and people flock to toss their cash away, sad really sad. I have played it it IS THE SAME AS MW2. why would you buy it again ?? Activision is laughing all the way to the bank! This is pathetic and should have been released as an expansion pack nothing more!

Instead they decided to churn out the same junk from last year and the year before. I'm just in shock they would let this franchise die such a horrible death. Theres no variety to multiplayer either. Basically its every man for himself. Everyone run around like chickens with their heads cut off. In my opinion this game also takes no skill to play. The weapons significantly lack recoil making it very, very easy to aim and by aim i mean spray rounds everywhere because you wont be bumped off target. Not worth 60 dollars, hell not worth 20 dollars. I'm no fanboy, just a very disappointed gamer.… Expand

    okay, i'm just gonna say, this is a terrible game. not because of the stupid reason that it's "a repackaged mw2". although it kinda is, it's also just not fun at all. online got boring after 1 hour, campaign wasnt very enjoyable, and the only high point of the game is spec ops. the survival mode is somewhat fun which is why i'm giving it a 1. do NOT buy this game, a waste of money

    Unbelievable how the same exact game we played years ago (COD: Modern Warfare 1) gets extra levels and they name that same game COD: Modern Warfare 3. Then they slap a 60 dollar price tag on it an sell it as new. Hopefully now, after literally almost every single user review is a 0 or 1, the publisher and developers of this tittle get the massage.

    Whilst there have been cuts to the package, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 remains a solid title on Wii. The story has made it over completely and the multiplayer is as fun as ever, and will easily cut through any days of boredom. If you are into shooters, then this should tickle you the right way.

    I realize that I am painting a fairly bad picture of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and I admit that it is hard to be objective when I have already had the pleasure to play the title on both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Comparing across the platforms is hardly fair when the Wii's processing power is so limited that it forces developers to make significant modifications to the gameplay. But even considering that, Modern Warfare 3 is merely an average shooter compared to the other FPS titles on the Wii.
