Jan 21, 2012MW3 is the definitive version of the franchise on the Wii and one of the best FPS ever made for the console.
-
Dec 2, 2011We dare to say that Modern Warfare 3 is the best FPS for the Wii, with few competitors. Although we prefer the campaign of Black Ops, this iteration improves a lot in the online mode, which is hands down the best in the platform.
-
Dec 4, 2011If you're a fan of Wii shooters, this game is a must. The one issue is with the online multiplayer – when it all flows well it's very good, but when it doesn't it can be very frustrating!
-
Nov 29, 2011In terms of graphics and game modes, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is no doubt the best episode of the series ever made for Wii. The problem is the motion controls aren't very accurate this time around, so you eventually have to play the game the traditional way, using a Classic Controller.
-
Nov 21, 2011Though there're a few glitches that doesn't makes it the best shooter on Wii, Modern Warfare 3 stands as a well-made adaptation for those who are willing to have a taste on Infinity Ward's latest blockbuster.
-
Nov 17, 2011Treyarch's technical prowess gained from bringing Call of Duty games on the platform shines through and through for the best-looking one on Wii yet. It's not exactly on par with the HD versions concerning fidelity or features, but considering the difference in horsepower MW3 on Wii is undeniably impressive. MW3 may not make you rethink the Call of Duty series, but it'll certainly satisfy its army of fans.
-
Nov 14, 2011Moder Warfare 3 is the old same Call of Duty...Thankfully. Half movie, half game, the brand entertains the player as few other fps can do.
-
Nov 24, 2011Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on Wii is a decent FPS, good enough to wait 'til Nintendo's next generation console is out.
-
Nov 22, 2011Modern Warfare 3 on Wii won't ever astound with its graphics or win over anyone already intent on playing it on another console. It is by no means the definitive version. Despite its various limitations, however, it is a solid approximation of the kind of content that continues to deliver year after year, even if the ride is getting a little predictable.
-
Nov 25, 2011A port that doesn't have the same dedication than past Treyarch's games for Wii, but which is still a good option to enjoy Modern Warfare 3 if you haven't any other console.
-
Nov 16, 2011If the Wii version of Modern Warfare 3 is your only available option, what you get here is a bombastic, if braindead, accomplished shooter with online multiplayer options that stand above those of most other Wii titles. Modern Warfare 3 Wii is an undeniable guilty pleasure both online and off.
-
Jan 23, 2012Whilst there have been cuts to the package, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 remains a solid title on Wii. The story has made it over completely and the multiplayer is as fun as ever, and will easily cut through any days of boredom. If you are into shooters, then this should tickle you the right way.

Jan 3, 2012I realize that I am painting a fairly bad picture of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and I admit that it is hard to be objective when I have already had the pleasure to play the title on both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Comparing across the platforms is hardly fair when the Wii's processing power is so limited that it forces developers to make significant modifications to the gameplay. But even considering that, Modern Warfare 3 is merely an average shooter compared to the other FPS titles on the Wii.
-
Nov 15, 2011Yes, you have to put up with missing Spec Ops missions, a lack of refinement in the online modes for now (add a point onto the final score should the lag issues be properly fixed), and some textures that look like they might have been drawn in Paint. On the other hand, you gain the thrilling speed and fluidity of pointer-based aiming (PlayStation owners ought to start petitioning Activision ASAP for Move integration in the next patch) and a slightly different, possibly better balanced, version of the acclaimed online multiplayer modes.
-
Dec 19, 2011Still a substantial package - especially on the online-starved Wii - but messy with it. Try GoldenEye instead - it was built for Wii and is all the better for it.
-
Nov 14, 2011Visuals aren't everything, but when the graphics make it hard to pick out targets or they make the game perform poorly when it was designed to run super-silky, they become problematic. Imagine a Michael Bay movie without the explosions? It wouldn't be exciting, and neither are the major moments in the MW3 Wii campaign.
