Nov 18, 2013With only two sports currently available, Wii Sports Club isn’t as robust an experience as it could be, but what is there will still keep players entertained for hours. With the promise of additional sports in the future, there’s a lot of potential for Wii Sports Club, and it’s easily worth a download for anyone who owns a Wii U.
-
Aug 9, 2014While the inclusion of online play creates some issues with the slower-moving sports, it’s still a fun addition for Tennis and Baseball.
-
Jul 5, 2014Wii Sports Club is a mixed bag, with some good things and some bad things. Tennis is great, especially online, and baseball is nice too, while the new golf and bowling minigames don't shine as they could have and boxe is a complete mess.
-
Nov 12, 2013The addition of an online multiplayer is what makes this game interesting. Other than that there is no real improvement to the original.
-
Aug 4, 2014Six years later, Wii Sports finally goes online. It hasn't got everything you would expect from a 2014 online experience, but it's the usual good game for every kind of audience.
-
Jul 28, 2014But this is still a game that revels in a party environment. Alone, there’s little to keep you coming back for too long, but after a few drinks, or with the family, Wii Sports continues to provide a good time.
-
Jul 14, 2014Wii Sports Club is a mixed bag. All sports benefit from the improved precision of the Wii MotionPlus - except the "K.O.tic" boxing - but only baseball and golf exploit the GamePad in a really innovative way. Moreover, there is a lack of new content as a whole, despite the funny training exercices. That said, the online matches and regional clubs' friendly competition guarantee that members will keep coming.
-
Jul 10, 2014Choosing between download passes or this compilation is down to individual preferences and budget, but those keen to try all five sports in the most convenient way should certainly consider the disc-based route.
-
Apr 13, 2014What we have seen so far with Wii Sports Club has positively impressed us. Some of the games are well managed while some aren't, but in general the realization of each sport is qualitatively appreciable.
-
Jan 14, 2014It's undeniable that Wii Sports Club is a clear improvement over the original, with its improved graphics, precise controls and online multiplayer mode. In spite of this, Nintendo could have taken a bigger risk, by developing a true sequel to Wii Sports. As it is, one has to wonder if its price isn't a bit excessive for what it offers.
-
Jan 7, 2014As a golf experience, Wii Sports Club offers one of the most satisfying gameplay to date, thanks to the clever use of the GamePad and the precision of Wii Motion Plus controller. But it's no more the game you can pick and play to have fun with your friends and family, losing all the casual appeal that Wii Sports series had.
-
Nov 10, 2013At first a HD remake of Wii Sports seems a faintly ludicrous idea but the game is still a great introduction to gaming, and to the potential of motion controls.

-
Nov 22, 2013Wii Sports Club is going to do well at parties, but the way it's set up will make less suitable for gamers that regularly play sports games. They might enjoy Wii Sports Resorts for longer. The online mode of Wii Sports Club works well though and in combination with the new mini games it's worth trying out.
-
Aug 7, 2014Rather than advancing upon the legacy of its predecessor, Wii Sports Club comes off more like an HD remake of the same old game with some additional motion plus and gamepad support. While this may have been a groundbreaking package eight years ago, today it feels altogether lackluster.
-
Aug 7, 2014It's still great fun, particularly in short bursts, but it's hard to justify plunking down extra cash for Wii Sports Club.
-
Jul 28, 2014Wii Sports always felt more like a starting point than an endpoint, so it's kind of funny to be playing it again on the Wii U more than a decade later.
-
Jul 22, 2014Wii Sports Club feels a little light on content and isn't quite as accessible as it once was, but it's still a great multiplayer game, whether played online or with friends.
-
Jan 17, 2014Wii Sports Club is just a bit out of place with this new offer, even if you recognize its key role in producing a winning system like the Wii.
-
games(TM)Dec 18, 2013An incomplete package. [Issue#142, p.127]
-
Dec 14, 2013The business model and the online mode are the main new features and, while paying just for the games you're going to play seems fair, the online experience has not been smooth for us.
