    All in all, Starwhal is an excellent couch multiplayer game that'll doubtless be a house favourite in many establishments.

It's simple to control and even easier to get into; the slow-mo on near misses is everything and helps build the hype instantly. We only play this as 3-4 person multiplayer and primarily the main mode but some of the alternatives are fun. For what it costs, it earned its value the night I bought it. It's also something you're not going to be playing for longer than an hour unless you have a mass of people switching in and out, but it's always something to go back to. If you ever wished Nidhogg was more than 2 players, this is your consolation prize as far as stabbing your friends in the chest goes… Full Review »
