    SuperChargers is as good as the Skylanders have ever been, and old fan or new, this is a ride you really need to strap in for and enjoy.

    Vicarious Visions really shocked me with the quality of SuperChargers, and has taken this franchise to new heights. Young or old, this a game everyone should enjoy.

    The Wii U starter pack comes with two Skylanders and one land vehicle. With this alone you will be able to enjoy the full main story and also be able to race on and offline.

    The latest chapter in the Skylanders series shows that this name still has a lot to offer. The amount of content and the adding of vehicles, as well as the presence of guest stars Donkey Kong and Bowser make this yet another significant entry in the series.

    Skylanders SuperChargers is a great game with lots of innovations and changes. Donkey Kong and Bowser both add a lot to the game, which is interesting for any Nintendo fan. This starterpack is definitely worth the money.

    The Skylanders series is now into year five and as long as they keep being this entertaining, varied, and lively, then each one should still be worth playing, whether you’re 7 or 27 years old.

    At the end of the day Skylanders SuperChargers is yet another great entry into the Skylanders Franchise. Personally, I was worried that the series might get stale, but Vicarious Visions has whipped up some “Portal Magic” by adding vehicles into the gameplay mix which allows for the game to not only be fun, but also show that there is a still a lot of life left in the franchise.

    Faced with stiff competition from Disney, LEGO, and Nintendo, Activision and Vicarious Visions chose to fight back by focusing on quality, breadth of play concepts, and a more affordable buy-in for the game. The resulting creation is the best Skylanders game to date, and a strong competitor to all those upstarts. Even the new Skylander characters, who initially seem a bit over-designed, grow on you after a few hours of play.

The Nintendo exclusive Donkey Kong & Bowser Skymiibo's are wonderfully designed and seeing them come alive for the first time in this game was a real treat. The graphics aren't as polished as the PS4 & Xbox One but the gameplay and frame rate remain true. The Mario Kart style gameplay is an absolute blast and is challenging enough for veteran players, yet forgiving enough for the young & casual crowd. Overall, the addition of DK & Bowser along with Barrel Blaster & Clown Cruiser vehicles and additional racing options make this the superior version to own. If you are a fan of Mario Kart or Diddy Kong racing or you have yet to play a Skylanders game, this is the time to give it a spin! You won't be disappointed!… Full Review »
