Rabbids Land

Rabbids Land is clearly the title that has been developed too quickly, with not enough resources to do justice to the Wii U. With its long animations and some mini-games that should have been more explored, Ubisoft's title lacks the interesting ideas that made the IP so successful in the past. A shame when you know the Rabbids universe could easily make you smile with their crazy jokes.

You'd have to have some pretty unhealthy attachment to these loony hares to get enjoyment out of this one. Because everyone else sees this as what it is: A collection of minigames which are average at best, hamstrung and held together by an overly dry board game concept - alone a torture, with friends just boring. If over the years the Rabbids were one big party for you, this is their get-out dance.

Rabbids Land's dull and repetitive minigames ruin a party already soured by slow pacing and tedious dice rolling.

A dull, horribly limited game that tries to rely on the Rabbids' likeability and fails miserably. [March 2013, p.86]

The other Rabbids mini-game compilations may have been light on longevity, but at least they provided a laugh. Rabbids Land doesn't even manage this.

With Raving Rabbids Land, Ubisoft offers a board game we do not recommend. Some asymmetric gameplay ideas are interesting, but the mini-games are ultimately boring. The pace is slow and the mini-games are 1 Vs. 1 only, which is a shame in a 4 players board game... Forget it.
