Nov 29, 2012A good alternative to Nintendo Land and strongly recommended for Rabbids fans. There aren't many minigames and modes in the package, but it's still a funny party game.
-
Nov 19, 2012It's fun to play, addictive, and certainly worth adding to the collection of those Rabbid fans out there.
-
Dec 30, 2012It is hard to dislike the comical Rabbids, and the antics of Rabbids Land goes to show that there is still plenty of fun to be had with crazy mini-games that can be played with a few friends. It may not have the same level of longevity as something like Nintendo Land but it does indeed prove to be a great time consumer for anyone hoping for an enjoyable experience that makes great use of the Wii U GamePad.
-
Dec 21, 2012If you're a fan of the series, and have some friends or family to experience the game with on a regular basis, then there is certainly fun to be had with Rabbids Land, even despite its simplicity. The board game format is fun and adds a nice twist of competition, and the Gamepad does, at times, show potential for the future.
-
Nov 25, 2012Rabbids Land provides players with a pretty solid party game experience. Its well-designed art and sound style and cohesive board game format make team outings fun. However, players looking to go it alone may find themselves yearning for higher levels of difficulty and more variety in the mini-game selection.
-
Nov 25, 2012Its launch day timing and name place Rabbids Land in unfortunate competition with Nintendo Land, which is a superior multiplayer experience in every way. That said, if you've got a group to play with and don't mind the one-on-one restriction of the mini-games, there's a lot of fun to be had here. Fans of the series in particular will get a kick out of seeing these furry faces in HD, the excellent and characterful animations, and the unlockable video shorts. Rabbids Land wraps fun mini-games in an underwhelming board game shell, and while it may not be the life of the Wii U party, if you happen to be throwing your own these guys make great little guests.
-
Dec 11, 2012Warped charm makes these bizarre critters and their zany game world likeable enough, but Rabbids Land falls woefully short of the Mario Party format it attempts to mimic.
-
Jan 8, 2013Not as much fun as you might expect. It's a great experiment in terms of what the GamePad is capable of, but as a game, Rabbids Land isn't that much of a success.
-
Jan 17, 2013Rabbids Land had the chance to really be the first go-to party game on the Wii U. Sadly, Ubisoft doesn't deliver a worthwhile experience, and the Rabbids brand, such as it is, suffers as a result.
-
Dec 4, 2012Just a mediocre party game, with only two players at a time and no new ideas.
-
Nov 24, 2012Rabbids Land is not an awful game by any means; however, it is not a good one either. Given the whole package that is offered, what one is left with is a decidedly average experience at best.
-
Nov 30, 2012The over-the-top humour still is omnipresent but the minigames lack the extra portion madness which made the former Rabbid games so special.
-
Jan 16, 2013Rabbids Land is not a bad game, but it could be much more equipped with content and more suitable to serve with quality and quantity the adepts of party games.
-
Nintendo PowerDec 14, 2012The Rabbids still amuse with their antics, but their first Wii U effort fails to consistently entertain. [Dec 2012, p.73]
-
Nov 30, 2012It is nigh impossible for me to recommend Rabbids Land to anyone who bought a Wii U. The collection of games ranges from mildly enjoyable, to downright mind-numbing. The fact that four players are supported and only two can play at a time is boggling, and trying to fly solo is comparable to watching paint dry. I love Rabbids. Their humor is undeniable, but there is nothing funny about sitting and waiting to play a mediocre mini-game, only to have to do it again ten minutes later.
-
Nov 21, 2012It has little ambition and middle-of-the-road execution. Nothing about this mini-game compilation stands out above any of the others we've seen on Wii – or Nintendo 64, for that matter.
-
Nov 18, 2012Rabbids Land isn't awful, but it's wholly unnecessary for a system that's launching with Nintendo Land, a game that trounces Ubisoft's attempts in every conceivable way.
-
Nov 18, 2012Too predictable to be a must-buy, unless you're the type of person that wishes Nintendo Landwas more like Mario Party. Otherwise, wait for this one to hit the bargain bin.
-
Feb 4, 2013Rabbits messed up everything. Unentertaining and unbalanced minigames, even though with some good ideas here and there, or the game's entertaining elements are quite problematic. But the biggest problem is that the game's authors won't even let you play the minigames themselves.
-
Dec 13, 2012Rabbids Land is clearly the title that has been developed too quickly, with not enough resources to do justice to the Wii U. With its long animations and some mini-games that should have been more explored, Ubisoft's title lacks the interesting ideas that made the IP so successful in the past. A shame when you know the Rabbids universe could easily make you smile with their crazy jokes.
-
Nov 27, 2012You'd have to have some pretty unhealthy attachment to these loony hares to get enjoyment out of this one. Because everyone else sees this as what it is: A collection of minigames which are average at best, hamstrung and held together by an overly dry board game concept - alone a torture, with friends just boring. If over the years the Rabbids were one big party for you, this is their get-out dance.
-
Nov 19, 2012Rabbids Land's dull and repetitive minigames ruin a party already soured by slow pacing and tedious dice rolling.
-
Games Master UKFeb 9, 2013A dull, horribly limited game that tries to rely on the Rabbids' likeability and fails miserably. [March 2013, p.86]
-
Feb 5, 2013The other Rabbids mini-game compilations may have been light on longevity, but at least they provided a laugh. Rabbids Land doesn't even manage this.
-
Dec 4, 2012With Raving Rabbids Land, Ubisoft offers a board game we do not recommend. Some asymmetric gameplay ideas are interesting, but the mini-games are ultimately boring. The pace is slow and the mini-games are 1 Vs. 1 only, which is a shame in a 4 players board game... Forget it.
-
Nov 20, 2012A few of the mini-games are fun, but none are fantastic. In a game with little style or substance, the only way to win is not to play.

May 15, 2022A pretty mediocre game with too little mini games, only 1 board, and too repetitive.
