    had played this game wanting it ever since i had seen it on the Xbox 360 indie arcade store. After a long time of waiting, my time had come to go through the trials of Aban Hawkins and the 1001 spikes, preparing to stay up all night frustrated with the difficulty of the levels that were to come. But to my surprise, i didn't find this game to be as difficult as it looked, still hard ashad played this game wanting it ever since i had seen it on the Xbox 360 indie arcade store. After a long time of waiting, my time had come to go through the trials of Aban Hawkins and the 1001 spikes, preparing to stay up all night frustrated with the difficulty of the levels that were to come. But to my surprise, i didn't find this game to be as difficult as it looked, still hard as heck. But I had gotten through the game in just a couple hours... Although with the huge variety of different playable characters and the dozens of levels that are included within the game, as well as the fun action packed multiplayer modes. Id say i definitely got my moneys worth.… Expand

    1001 Spikes is a fun, varied and well-designed 2D platformer that makes use of old-school mechanics to impose a steep difficulty curve and a thousand and one obstacles that even experienced players will find challenging. A very welcome addition to the eShop’s library.

    But somehow, the small scale trials found in the levels of 1001 Spikes bring me back. Grabbing the key and making it inches from the stage door before dying carries a similar weight, and makes realizing the far-fetched goal all the sweeter.
