Mar 31, 2020If you want a great cooperative shooter to play with others online, Zombie Army Trilogy is the game you’re looking for. The solo experience can be enjoyable as well and will keep you busy for a very long time, particularly if you love hunting for achievements and secrets. The game falls down on the technical side, mostly due to what feels like dodgy aiming when too many enemies are around, but it’s still good fun. It bears repeating that there’s more than enough to justify the game’s cost here, and if you need something to soak up a few hours of your life, this game is ready and waiting to eagerly take any time you have to offer, and maybe try to eat your brains too.

Mar 31, 2020Zombie Army Trilogy feels a little less essential than other ports to the Switch, however it is technically a good port of a decent game. Firing slow-motion x-ray shots consistently is always a thrill.

Mar 31, 2020Zombie Army Trilogy is a solid co-op shooter with a fantastically pulpy set-up that does exactly what it sets out to, pitting you and up to three other players against an almost endless army of gloriously gory undead Nazis and letting you snipe, shotgun and kick every last one of them to pieces. It may be of somewhat limited appeal when played solo, but gather together a crew or join forces with randoms online and this one springs to life, providing countless hours of admirably straightforward skull-smashing fun.

Mar 31, 2020Zombie Army Trilogy is a nice collection of zombie shooters, with great atmosphere and a horror movie vibe, but the games didn't age so well and the 30 fps lock on Nintendo Switch feels a bit cumbersome when it comes to controls.
-
Mar 31, 2020Zombie Army Trilogy on Nintendo Switch is fun and easy to control, but lacks a bit of content and playability.
-
Mar 31, 2020Zombie Army Trilogy is a pretty decent third-person horror shooter, terrible but enjoyable at the same time if you have friends to share with.

Apr 2, 2020The repetitiveness of Zombie Army Trilogy is what holds it back in the end. By the time the first campaign is over players will have seen everything that Zombie Army Trilogy has to offer. The only interesting mechanic that the game sports is the X-Ray visual gimmick, but that has been seen in every Sniper Elite game to date. Zombie Army Trilogy is sadly nowhere near as fun as Zombie Army 4: Dead War. With no enticing new content or features, players who don't have a friend to play online with will probably lose interest in Zombie Army Trilogy fast.

Mar 31, 2020Zombie Army Trilogy for Switch is a solid port of a solid zombie co-op shooter. It’s not really more than that, but then it’s not trying to be. Just make sure you turn on motion controls, try to bring friends with you, and accept that you won’t have the same whizz-bang toys you would have when playing Zombie Army 4.
