Easily one of the better RPGs available on the Switch.

    - Tiger!Tiger! est bien lourd à la longue
    - "THINK YOU CAN TAKE ME/ DON'T FORGET ME!!!!!!" qui est déjà devenu un même sur internet

    *************************
    Pas mal de qualités!
    *************************

My favorite game of all time. It has a great story with very deep and interesting characters. The gameplay is fun and fast paced. The music is probably the best part of the game with it’s beautiful songs. A must play for any Nintendo switch owner.

This is the first Xeno saga game I played. In general, I am quite happy to what I saw.

    - Difficulty. I´ve just finished Octopath Traveller and I have to say it is much easier than this XC2, You are gonna die, a lot, period. The world is full of high level monsters you want to avoid and some bosses are quite hard to beat.
    - Music. I am more a a fan of classic music for jrps rather than electronic/modern music, but despite this fact, the soundtrack is amazing
    - Duration

    Cons:
    - Story (It,s decent, but I didn´t fell in love with it)
    - Graphically, it could be more polished

A game worth playing if you enjoy jrpgs.

    The reasons:
    - The compass is garbage and I was relying on it in the beginning as I didn't know where I was going. I feel like it tries to make you walk a certain path instead of saying hey the object you want is north it tries to tell you to walk east then south then north. Which ends up being confusing and runs you into high level monsters that 1 hit you.
    - Some of the places quests try to send you to are hard to find. Trying to dodge higher level monsters while looking for a specific area can get annoying and take unnecessary amount of time.
    - The tutorial can really use some work, but with there being youtube to help out it doesn't hurt much.

After getting past those few things I would highly recommend it to people who are into JRPG's.

Story was good overall, combat was interesting at first but grew repetitive over time. Randomly generated blades, along with the button mashing required when trying to get a rare blade, made the game feel even more grindy..

The only downside i have is the voice acting on some caracters. Voices of Nia, Malos, Jin, Poppi were amazing the others meh. To have only one active side quest at a time was also meh but overall great game.

Amazing story, characters, cutscenes, music, visuals etc.

However, everything takes extremely long time to do. A few fights in my playthrough ended up taking around 25 minutes.. Also, the battle system is unnecessarily complex. It took me like 35 hours and a bunch of youtube tutorials to understand it all. That being said, I would strongly recommend this game if you like jrpgs in

A great game. Charismatic characters, Fantastic Japanese dubbing and a beautiful art. Gameplay can be boring for people who don't have the patience to wait for slow narrative. The battle is very good when more skills are unlocked and combinations between the various blades to be found.

Managing all the different system for each of your characters can be enjoyable at times, but more often than not felt like busywork. Figuring out how to use the battle system is unclear and it takes several hours until you unlock the mechanics which actually make combat fun. Many of the characters are over-designed, and frankly look a bit hideous. The side quests are serviceable, but never engaged me nearly as much as the main story content. However, apart from one or two pacing issues and a few inconsistent vocal performances, I love just about everything else. The story is relatively intricate and deep, and leads to some very effective emotional beats. The characters are (for the most part) quite well defined and enjoyable to interact with. The soundtrack is outstanding, and contains some of my favorite songs from any video game I've ever played. The battle system can be tremendously fun in the latter half, and has some very unique and satisfying mechanics. The worlds are vast and enjoyable to explore. Visually it's incredibly good, the substandard resolution is a shame, but it doesn't actively detract from the experience while playing. It is unfortunate that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 doesn't contain the level of consistency seen in it's predecessor, but it is still highly worthwhile. In fact, the high points in 2 are often far higher than those in 1, even if the overall quality doesn't quite match up. I'd recommend trying Xenoblade 2 out, if you can get past the flaws it's one of the most unique and beautiful games out there. Expand

This game isn't perfect, but it's hands down the most fun game I've played on the Switch so far. The story and characters are engaging, and there's so much to do. Difficulty is perfect for me, challenging at times but certainly not frustrating: if you get stuck you can always gear and level up to be better prepared. Amazing game. Would have been a 10 if not for a few weird design choices.

Xenoblade 2 is simply "ok" at almost everything it tries to do and is bogged down by convoluted and tedious systems. It's soundtrack is the only thing I would call a standout (Torigoth Day is a particularly nice song). While not a bad game, it does not, as a whole, do anything remarkable enough to warrant the 60 hour time-sink.

While the game still has some little issue in game mechanics and several cliché in the story, I found it was still very addictive, worth over 100 hours playing. When you get used to the game mechanics, that moment you will be overdose with Xenoblade C2. Plus you would probably be in love with the main characters like mine. One of the best JRPG.

A fight with an ordinary enemy whose level is slightly higher can drag on for minutes, especially if you’re fighting it alone. The combat itself is also rife with problems: sometimes main character even fails to draw his weapon, or locks onto a far-off enemy, while another already is eviscerating him in close combat.
