    Do you like
    -Undertale?
    -The Vanishing of Ethan Carter?
    -What Remains of Edith Finch?
    Then you will LOVE Wandersong!

To begin, this game is a instant masterpiece, it grabs you in straight away with it's charm! And it never hits a low note: "no pun intended". The art is simple, the music is relaxing, and the characters are wonderful, there is a side character for everyone to LOVE!

The real attraction comes from the game's excellent use of music which creates some really atmospheric moments and the humorous characters you meet along the way. The game really isn't very challenging so i'd recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, colorful game with a protagonist who dances in the best ways imaginable.

Overall the game is a really great experience, with really good writing and a great soundtrack. My only real gripe is the ending, which just borrows from earlier in the game. Regardless, still a great experience.

A surprisingly epic adventure with unique singing mechanics. Great story and characters, weaker platforming.

Pretty sure if you don't like this game that you're a bad person. In all seriousness, this game is fantastic, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not playing it.

This, this game, is my favorite switch game of all time. I love this games writing, humor, art style, soundtrack, everything. This game is one of the most, if not, the most charming game I've ever played and I'm glad that it was my 99th game on my video game shelf.

I think this game is incredible. The dialogue is funny and well written. The characters are unique and interesting, and the story is very cool, with many twists as you go along. The gameplay is really fun and had me engaged the entire time. The puzzles are all very fun to go through and solve. I think this game is definitely a must-play.

I have no idea why this game is getting good reviews. I’m usually one defending games that are mediocre because there’s usually a redeeming quality or maybe people just didn’t give them a chance. Well I heard awesome things about wandersong...I was going to just buy it in the switch for one of my long trips but just held off and boy am I glad..this game sucks and I hate to say that. I’m really glad Microsoft put it on game pass because they saved me some coin. All you do us go around with a radial bar around you that if you press it in a certain direction the bard sings a note. So the story basically is about saving the planet and only you can sing to maybe stop the catastrophe...I played the first 3 chapters and kept wondering if the game is going to get better..where’s all this awesomeness and mind blowing experience I’ve been hearing about. I went from boring dialog to solving parts dance dance revolution style by pushing my analog stick to match what the enemies or puzzles wanted..snooze fest...maybe I’m just not deep like the neckbeards out there and only games like these make sense to them because did you ever talk to those lads with fedoras...they just go in just as dumb...so yeah..this game gets the masterful 1 out of 10..thanks game pass for saving he money...I just didn’t get this game at all. The gameplay of Wandersong is primarily built around the use of wheel, controlled using the right analogue stick, that allows the player to sing one of eight colour coded musical notes. Using this players will complete relatively simple puzzles and rhythm action mini-games and traverse platforms, which only prove tricky on occasions thanks to the imprecise controls. In all honesty, the gameplay lacks any real challenge, and as a result it isn’t particularly fun.

Fortunately, with a great cast of characters and sense of humour, the game does however have charm in spades and the conversations and crazy plot are without doubt the strongest elements of the game. Quite often I found myself just wanting some sections to end so that I see more of these interaction, and trimming a few hours off the 10-12 hour running time would have been of benefit to the pacing in my opinion.

With more involved gameplay this could have been a classic, but as it is it’s not a title I could unequivocally recommend.

A very charming and uplifting (sometimes even a little too much for my grumpy ass lol) Indie game with surprisingly big scope. The platforming controls could be a little tighter, but since the game is pretty easy, it doesn't matter that much.

One of the greatest games I've ever played - I'm aware it has flaws (I speedrun the game, i should know) but it still earns a 10/10 as an essential experience for anyone who's ever played... a game. Anyone who's ever played games. Yeah.

The gameplay, art style and music is gorgeous. The singing mechanic is used in so many different ways, wether your luring birds or using it as a light, singing is marvelous. No spoilers, but I will tell you that the ending is incredibly satisfying. Deserves a sequel. 10/10

Wandersong definitely has a lot of things going for it. The visuals are stylistic, the story is great, and the game play is built on an interesting premise. Is there a wall too tall to scale? That's ok! Just sing to a bird to get an extra boost next time you jump. What if you're meet face to face with a vengeful spirit? No problem! Sing it a song in order to calm it down. The only real problem with this mechanic is the repetition. Many of the gimmicks that utilize singing just boil down to guiding where something goes with the control stick. Another, more pronounced issue is the controls. They're... ok, but there are definitely moments where they feel kinda janky, but even if the moments of janky cause you to mess up it's not going to set you back much because of another, more personal issue I have. The game is really REALLY easy, in every aspect. There's like 3 challenging puzzles and 2 challenging platforming sections. It's not like the easy platforming and puzzles are boring, but the low difficulty means you kinda just breeze through the game. Where Wandersong shines is when ever you're told to explore a town in order to progress. These towns are often filled with fun characters and make you explore every inch to find what you need. Luckily, these sections are very common, even taking up an entire chapter (easily my favorite by the way).
Wow uhhhh didn't expect to have that much negative to say. Anyway, the story is pretty good. It's kinda like Super Paper Mario except good. The game looks great, with really pretty colors (animations could be better though).

I loved this game so much!! Very simple in style, nothing excessive, yet so well done. I loved the story, the characters and most of all - the humor. I laughed out loud a few times. And the idea of using songs as weapons - AWESOME.

The games ending gives me goosebumps every time and is VERY hard to predict. The ending is lovely and by far the best part of the game.

    --Synopsis--

A bard has a "dream" where they are told by the rainbow girl (Later revealed to be named Eyala) that the world is ending after he fails the test to see if he's a hero. Soon they see Eyala again and learn that the world is really ending and that it can be saved with the Earthsong, and each of the 7 overseers have a piece of it, so the bard embarks on a quest to gather the pieces of the song and save the world, and on his way he meets a grumpy witch named Miriam, who accompanies him on his adventure.

This game is absolutely wonderful and definitely worth the 20 dollars.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut, Greg Lobanav (creator) made an even better game called chicory so go play that instead

If you’re after a unique experience, Wandersong completely has you covered. The singing mechanic works perfectly, and while it may feel a bit too easy at times, the combination of the visuals, writing, and various gameplay objectives across a generous seven-act structure make for an incredibly compelling platforming experience that you’d do well to check out.

Wandersong is a highly recommended title, not only for its original mechanics, but for its soundtrack and the adult themes that it covers.
